Got this in early preparation for my 6-month anniversary with my partner, so this review is my opinion as a giver before wrapping it up for my darling – I will edit if his opinion is any different than mine. To be honest, I was more interested in the box than the puzzle (though we do LOVE puzzles!) as I was going to repurpose it to be a keepsake box professional enough for work (hence my overanalyzing of details), but I have also assembled and reviewed the puzzle.The box and puzzle are both made of a cheap but durable particle board (my nails couldn’t make a dent) that is stained evenly to look like a higher quality cedar/maple in wood color, not tone. The box had some curiosities, such as the joint at the hinge being square and not rounded off which can result in the lid being stuck in the open position; if this occurs to you, remedy it by jiggling it back and forth, and DO NOT try to force it, as it may crack (mine groaned but did not break when I tried that). The shape on the front of the box is also odd and only featured in the final photo, but to me most commonly looks like a crown of thorns (think: Jesus’ crucifixion) – considering the theme of the box, a heart would be much more appropriate (I have a Dremel, so I will create this aesthetic myself).The puzzle itself is assembled easily, and you have instructions to consult (to the seller: I’d recommend putting the instructions at the bottom of the box so that the pieces are the first thing the giftee sees – this makes it more likely for them to rely on assembling it by their own power, which can be much more enjoyable for the couple. The puzzle does fit together, though the joints could be tighter – it holds it shape when help vertically but falls apart easily if attempting to lift off a surface. It is a good size and clear font, and not all of the pieces fit together with hole-and-knob (which, by the way, are all heart-shaped – great detail!), meaning the design can be more complex and entertaining to assemble. The one thing I would mention here is that not all of the generalized statements may apply to your situation, particularly the “you love our family” – if you do not have kids, pets, or other familial connections, this may seem an odd choice – I’d recommend this be changed to “you love the family we create together” as it can insinuate just the two in the relationship or more individuals. There are no religious connotations or pronouns, so it is very flexible no matter the relationship’s age, gender of recipient, or beliefs, except for the statement mentioned above.Overall, this is a sweet gift and a good quality for the price – there are slight things I’d recommend tweaking in order for this to be a $7-9 present as it definitely has potential. Hope this can help you and your loved one connect!

Ordered this as an anniversary present.She loves hearts.She loved this.Even the little pieces that fit together are little hearts (which she also noticed).Cute messages.Well made.I would have liked the option to customize or perhaps write something on one when it arrived.Nicely done, and recommended.

This product offers a personal touch that is sure to be remembered. If you’re looking for a unique and heartfelt way to express your love, this might be a great option.
