I got the largest bag available, but I was skeptical that it would fit my 8 foot tree, because the tree itself doesn’t really compress much (it doesn’t come close to fitting even the largest Rubbermaid container). I was pleasantly surprised that the tree fit with tons of room to spare. The straps inside are a great idea. The canvas is a decent quality, but I can see how the poles could rip through if you aren’t careful. I just packed the tree pieces with the poles facing the center, but you could always add a piece of cardboard to protect the canvas. I was able to move this bulky bag down two floors by myself because of the wheels, which when properly tightened stayed put. Highly recommend this bag!

Yes, this is marketed as a storage bag for christmas trees, but it's also the perfect size to store your 12-foot Home Depot Skeleton. Once you figure out the configuration of the "bones" the skelly stays secure and safe and the wheels on the duffle make it easy to maneuver and manipulate as you store it in the garage, shed or wherever your guy or girl rests between Halloween seasons. I liked it so much that we ordered a couple more for our other big Halloween figures (Pumpkin Inferno and Servo Skelly).

Absolutely love this bag. The wheels are extremely nice on it and it is very sturdy and durable. I do have a large 9 foot tree and although the bag is slated to fit a 9 foot tree, it barely fits in the bag at that width and height. so I opted to buy a second bag so that the tree wasn’t so crammed in just one bag. For a smaller size tree one bag I’m sure is fine and it would fit perfectly without being really crammed in there but I felt more comfortable trying to avoid damage to the pre-lit tree by having a second bag.

The bag is very sturdy canvas. Size is accurate. But I'm using it to transport my folding E Bike - the bike is about 55 US pounds and fits inside with a little room to spare. I am a happy biker!

I selected the Big Wheeled 9 Foot Christmas Tree Storage Bag from the dimensions. Our tree is 7,5ft, and the box that it came in measured 22"x24"X48" and I wanted a bag that I could put the box into so that it would provide some definition to the shape of the bag, figuring that would make it easier to carry, etc. This bag was the smallest that would accommodate the 22x24 and the extra inches on the length I thought might make it easier to work the box into the bag. As you can see in the pictures, putting the box into the bag did give the structural shape that I hoped it would, and it turned out to be a tight fit even though the box was only 48 inches the "extra" 8 inches of the bag length was consumed by fitting the box in. How easy this will be to load the tree into and move around I won't know until after xmas when the tree comes down. This bag definitely has a canvas feel and weight even though I'm sure it is made of some artificial fabric. It certainly feels like it will last. I picked it also on the basis of it having a U shaped zipper the opens almost the entire top. That will make putting the tree in and taking it out a lot easier than only a straight zipper down the center. The wheels are quite large and will roll with a fair weight pretty easily. My feeling is the wheels are not adequate for a lot of rolling on rough surfaces (like concrete, etc), but I could be wrong. The little fenders cracked me up when I saw them, but it is a clever idea for keeping drooping bag sides binding the wheels if the bag isn't loaded to its fullest, or having something to provide definition to the shape of the bag. I will update if I learn over time I've said anything here that turns out to be less than true.

We have a pre-lit 7.5 foot tree in 3 sections that we've normally stored in its box up until now but finally made the switch to a bag mainly because the box is getting old and the fit was extra snug. I have to say this bag definitely does a great job of fitting the tree, closing easily, and either rolling or being carried by the straps. Since our tree doesn't take up the entire space in the bag, one negative is that all of the contents tend to slide down to the wheels and need to be re-positioned a bit to move comfortably. In a perfect world I'd either want a slightly smaller size of this bag to make sure this didn't happen, or want straps on the outside of the bag to compress the excess. However, I won't take off anything for that because this is supposed to fit trees up to 9 feet and combined with the durability of the bag and the functionality of the wheels it does its job well!
