Find Your Size
Most skates follow your shoe size.
Once you have the correct size of skates it is always best to check the following items below to ensure a proper fit:
- The skate's closure system should be secured snugly ensuring the heel is locked in. It also helps to give the heel a little tap on the floor to push it into the rear of the boot.
- When standing with knees bent or skating, the heel should be secure and have no to minimal lift. In the skating position the heel tends to settle back into the skate and demonstrate the true fit. A skate that is too loose can compromise ankle support
- Toes should not be pressed against the front of the skate or cramped.
- Better skaters tend to like when their toes lightly brush against the toe area because they know their heels will settle back giving them the proper room and allowing the skate to feel like a true extension of their foot. This is all personal preference.
- Skate socks make a big difference in the performance and fit of skates

I skated a lot in my childhood, with a mixture of street skating and roller hockey. It’s been over 25 years since those skating days, and I couldn’t be happier with the Lightning 110’s. After trying on a few 4x80’s, 4x90’s, and 3x100’s, I’ve landed on these, which fit my bill just right.I’m not using these for tricks. I’m getting outside for exercise, fun, and rolling around with my kids while they ride their bikes/scooters. While the roads in my area are certainly well-maintained, there still are gaps, rocks, acorns, twigs, etc. The 110’s drastically help make the ride smoother and more fun.And it barely took me time to get used to blading (or blading with a big-wheel/tri-skate set up). These are comfy right out of the box. I’ve gone 60 miles so far in 3-10 mile clips, and feel even more secure in them now. Yes, they are fast, but easier to control in my opinion when compared to 4x80’s or 4x90’s when reaching those speeds.Highly recommend for anyone returning to the sport after decades hiatus.

I really like these skates. I would of gave this review 5 stars, but had to give a 4 star rating because these skates are hard to break in. I have skated in them about 10 times, for at least 2 hrs everytime. And the inside of the hardboot is rubbing really hard on the inside of my foot. Besides that, the boot is comfortable and I like how smooth and fast the skates are. Hopefully I can break them in soon.

Everything about the skate is great if you're looking for a soft boot. But this shouldn't be billed as a hard boot. It feels very flexy.

These are GREAT! I'm still getting used to the 3WDrive, but one can replace the frame to fit 4WD is needed. Super solid when landing a jump and silent when skating, thanks to their choice of wheels. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Highly recommended.

These skates have great features and looks. Unfortunately my foot shape doesn’t seem to agree with this liner or hard boot. I’ve tried breaking in for 6-8 ish hours of skate time. The pictures are a result. I’ve been using wool socks, thick and thin. I’ve had to resort to moleskins which are failing due to sweat now. For background I’m coming from size 9 zetrablades to these 8-8.5 Lightnings. My zetrablade had a fair amount of toe space left so with advice from rollerblade and using their sizing guide I went down a size. Definitely cramped in toes that I would assume will break in more with a few more hours of skate time, but the sides are now intolerable. Started putting the zetrablades back on instead. I can’t fault the product specifically because it’s just how it is when you don’t have a local shop to try inlines on. Amazon has been very helpful with returning after usage. I did try on inside before using, but this hotspot didn’t pop up til a few hours of skating. May just stick with soft boots.

The skates are solid built, have good ankle grip, have no pressure points, and are very good at keeping the speed. This is my first pair of in-line 3x110 coming out of 4x80 and they do not disappoint. The ride is more stable and the blades keep momentum for longer. The only drawback that I can think of is that they are running a bit on the wide side, but the sizer insole takes care of the issue. For example, for a size 10, I would get a 9/9.5 pair and see how that fits without the sizer in. The skate sizing should be done indoors so that they can easily be returned in case the size does not fit properly. Overall, great pair of skates.

The box was in shambles when it arrived. One of the skates is completely used while the other one is brand new there are scuff marks all over the used boot The wheels don’t even spin correctly
