It has been many years since I roller-skated. These are perfect...and fun!I did need to purchase sole cushions for more comfort.

for the normal price of these they are actually very nice skates. decent wheels, decent laces, nice material etc overall just a above average pair of skates for that price. now if you want something nicer you will spend 100$ min or more or the next level up in quality. now for the not so good. the so called abec7 bearings are far from that i mean maybe somehow they meet that rating but i have abec 3's that BLOW these bearings away and spin far far better. in order for the wheels to properly spin with the included ones you really have to loosen the nut but then the wheels wobble, but then you get some nice spin. the bearings are def chunky you can feel how gritty they are. the frames are plastic and and flimsy they have a lot of flex to them i would not recc these for anything but flat skating. the wheels are more of a gummy type wheel so they will prob chunk up pretty fast if you use them outside on asphalt or rough concrete. and they could use a bit more padding inside for sure especially on the bottom. so far i have changed the wheels out for some bones super hard wheels (98a) and the bearings for some them branded ones i had new sitting around (i have a ton of bearings to choose from but picked the cheapest ones and they are still far far better then the included ones) and now with the bones wheels and them bearings these cruise nicely and can be tightened properly while still allowing the wheels to properly spin. and spin they do for a good while now lol. again for the price of these you can NOT really complain about anything except maybe the bearings but even that is fine for someone who will occasionally use these if you set the pressure right on the nut. i gave the light up laces to my daughter who put them on one of her sneakers and she loves them. a bit to much flash for me lol. so yeah for mid 40$ skates these are very much worth it but know they are a beginner skate going in and you will be fine. size was true. almost spot on. i ordered 43 and they are exactly that maybe a bit narrow on the sides. so i recc ordering your actual size and not going up a size or they will be to large and def dont go down a size. if you measure a 43 order a 43. the design is neat a bit flashy again but i saw the pics before ordering them. i would personally prefer all black. i think i covered everything. also you can not change the frame on these without some serious work you would have to drill out the rivets and then figure out a way to mount the new ones with some washers and nuts. it can be done but at that point just spend a but more imo. again great skates for 40$.
