After looking at a few models, this was the best quality for the price. The die cast aluminum plates, and the medium cushion means the wheels give enough to turn easily but sturdily. The adjustable toe stop and standard metal parts means it'll be easy to maintain over time as well.I'm not a fan of the all white look, but I used watered down acrylic paint to tint the stitching and the laces and I think they look great now.

The skates arrived quickly in new condition but I did have to return them due to sizing. I am a size 7-8 in shoes depending on the brand and style, most of my shoes are a 7.5. I was unsure which size to go with so I ordered a size 7. They fit but were tight at the toe and would not be comfortable to use. A size 8 fits perfect. My advise is if you are between sizes or have wide feet to size up 1 size. For reference I am 5’4 and about 120lbs. My feet are on the slender or narrow side, not wide. I did end up purchasing 2 different colors/styles of skates in this brand in a size 8 and love them. Good quality and style for the price for a beginner or casual skater.

Absolutely worth upgrading to the higher end line of these skates. You can tell you’re getting the better ones if the brake is white and not blue. It’s worth the extra ankle padding, better wheels, much more ergonomic foot bed, etc.

The quality surprised me and the skates were pretty darn good if you ask me. 40 years since I skated and these are better than the ones I started out renting at the rinks long ago! 10++++ is my rate for the skates.

Purtroppo li ho restituiti subito. Sconsiglio l'acquisto.

Thinking I'd relive my childhood I bought these roller skates. It took about 5 different times using them to really loosen them up to fit good and now they fit perfectly! Anyone wanting to start or get back into skating, these are a great price point and quality. The roller rinks in our area are all closed now, but parking lots work great and are free! Its great exercise and a fun confidence builder.

I wear a size 8.5-9 these fit very snug in a size 8 . I’m glad I didn’t get a bigger pair , feels good . The wheels roll nice and they are doing what I expected after not skating for 30 years Haha ! great pair for starting all over again and the price is awesome . Good for indoor and out so far . If you are like me and skeptical about these skates , the size is good either true to size or a size down should be ok …they looked really small but the laces are so long and it allows you to tailor them to your size. Having fun , I fell but got back up again! Get them , you won’t be sorry and for the price , just DO IT !

I’ve been skating for about 3 months now and I’m upgrading my skates so I wanted to leave a full review on these.First of all, these are GREAT skates for beginners.Straight out the box my wheels didn’t spin but that’s okay! Just get a skate tool and loosen them! You can also use pliers(what I used). The toe stops are adjustable which is really nice so if you want to try skating without them it’s an easy switch. You can also move them up further or closer to the ground. The boot support around the ankles are great and the wheels are really nice( I skate indoors mainly) I used them twice outdoors. The 1st time it was an outside rink so it was really smooth, I had no issues it was just hard to turn(could have nothing to do with the wheel) the 2nd time there was more debris and it help up well! I didn’t feel much (I think softer wheels would’ve been easier though). The trucks are metal which is great for outdoor skating, it just makes the skate heavier. My one and only con is this boot is not comfortable but keep in mind when I skate it’s for 4+ hours. The boot itself has virtually no padding on the sides, tongue or the sole. There’s one thin lining on the sole but it’s very hard. Experienced skaters recommended I put inserts in. The inserts I got didn’t fit snug so you may have to cut the insole to the boot. I’d recommend getting an insole ! But if you’re going to do that size up so you have enough room for the insole, your foot and your socks. The last thing you want is a corn or blister. Also keep in mind if you want to start doing toe work eventually like toe spins or extensions, tape up your toe(s) with a bandaid that’s hitting the skate so you don’t get blisters. I’m a 10 in women’s so I ordered a 10& it was a perfect fit.Overall I would totally recommend these skates to a beginner, they’re not too expensive and they’ll get you rolling. I’m keeping these skates and may just use them outside but I’m not getting rid of them!If you’re a beginning these are your skates!!

After spending quite a bit of time researching adult skates for my 12-1/2 yr old daughter. I compared Reidell $70 Chicago Skate $60 & these, Roller Derby $50. The reviews, quality & specs. I ended up choosing these. The quality at this price point beyond comparison. These weigh about 6 lbs vs 8 to 8 1/2 lbs of other name brands. I liked that the wheels are indoor/outdoor hardness & the bearings are closed. The packaging was very nice. Skates were immaculately perfect. You can’t go wrong with these. Her shoe size ranges from 7 to 7-1/2 depending on width & brand. I got her the 8 based on Roller Derby recommendation & reviewer comment. With a thick sock, she loved the size. No pinching & the padding on the tongue really helps. The lighter weight skate was perfect too. She skated a bit inside on tile, the wheels were tight, so I loosened them a bit so they spun freely. She loves them & can’t wait to show them off. This was an early Xmas gift so she can do a school skate event this week. (I totally plan on wrapping them back up on Xmas eve, lol)I will update after she wears them to the rink & gives me her full review.I don’t think there will be any problems, beyond adjusting the wheels & trucks to suit her needs.I can totally see her wearing these throughout her teens. Might even get her a good set of outside wheels & another set dedicated for indoor, later on.I’ve been quad skating since the 70’s & my 1st skates had metal wheels! I highly recommend these as a great 1st real adult skate & as a pair for a experienced skater. I’m thinking of replacing my 2nd hand riedells with a brand new pair of these.
