I love how you can take this remote out of the box and it works automatically. No having to program anything. It’s lightweight with a great design. Functions as should.

Works with the TCL roku TV I got in 2019. No pairing or troubleshooting required. But there are no instructions for removing the battery cover. Which sounds dumb, but it clearly does not work the same way the old style remote I had works. I thought my new remote was stuck, broken, jammed, or glued shut. No amount of prying and pulling would take the cover off. I nearly used pliers which would have surely broken it. BUT it turns out you simply PRESS where you see the 3 grip lines drawn. Then WHILE pressing fairly HARD, far harder than you're used to with the other remote, PUSH down and the battery case will come free. Not left or right like the AI answer says on your (probably not favorite) chromium internet browser. Which came from the top official roku forum post answer. GOOD GRIEF. At least it's secure, I guess.

Came out of the package ready to use immediately! No setup required, and it came with batteries in. Just open it up and start using it.

Great, it worked out of the box, just had to remove the protective film and the battery terminal strip, no setup at all, pointed at the TV and it worked. Amazingly, the price point is on par with off brand 3rd party options, so that's great, I'd always rather get the official product than a 3rd party for the same price!

Easy peasy! No pairing; no set up. Just add batteries and it's ready to go. Buttons function well; volume control works, no issues. This is a good buy.

It’s my fault I should have read more but it does not work with non-Roku TVs. It works great with my Roku TVs but the ones I bought them for do not. Just have to switch them around.
