If you have fencing, particularly log fencing-- a roll of wire like this would be nice to have-- even for temporary repairs. Out on the ranch, I'd keep this strong, flexible wire on hand. You just never know. I would keep it somewhere where I could find it again... and go about my business.

This is a standard tie/baling wire. I’ve used every tie wire known to man in my 60yrs. This is equal to or better than most. I’ve used some real bad wire in my day. This is NOT low buck cheap wire. This is top notch wire. I am proud to use it on my projects! I have no issue using this wire to tie 1/2" rebar. The rebar has held tightly with no joints snapping loose. The wire does NOT shed black muck all over your hands. Just that makes this wire superior to other products. I don’t know what else to say about simple wire other than you won’t be disappointed when using this wire!
