The Rockwood K1050 series rectangular stainless steel kick plate with satin finish covers the lower portion of a door to protect it against damage such as dents, scrapes, and scuffs. This kick plate can be used on either the push or the pull side of a door. It measures 34 x 3/64 inches (W x T) and is recommended for use with 36"-wide doors when used on the push side and with 35-1/2"-wide doors when used on the pull side. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; T is thickness, the distance from front to back.) The plate is made from durable stainless steel, which is corrosion resistant in most mild environments. The satin finish provides low luster and reflectivity to match existing hardware. The plate has 10 mounting holes and installs using the included #6 x 5/8" stainless steel screws.
Kick plates help protect the lower portion of a door from damage. Also called door, mop, and armor plates, they are manufactured in a range of materials, finishes, and sizes.

Neatly packaged with on one tiny scratch that got through the packaging (happening during packing, not caused by shipping). The panel is protected by a plastic sheet that is easy to peel off. Had the old one off and this installed in 10 mins. It's approximately 1/16" thick which is enough to make it rigid. Finish was a perfect match for door hardware. Highly recommended.

This kick plate is great. Heavy duty stainless steel - thick. Looks great. Like others have mentioned, the kick plate arrived slightly damaged on one corner. I used a soft hammer to straighten the corner. Other than that, excellent.Also, as I was taking the attached picture, I noticed that I had not removed the protective plastic cover :).

I bought this to cover some damage to the lower part of my pool bathroom door. It is solid and beautiful and easy to attach (remember to use a level once you get the first screw in). It makes the door look more substantial and finished. Highly recommend.

This appears to be a well made piece of stainless steel. The cost for such a small piece of metal seems a bit high.

Perfect for commercial door where the paint comes off all the time. Just pop this on and it always looks good. This is a durable kickplate and so far is hoping to well
