Great value. Wasn't the loudest thump but still added some good bass to my truck

I received this kit for Christmas. I installed it in my 1993 Geo Metro. I like that it included the wiring kit. While the power cables may have been adequate for the amplifier, I had some 6 gauge copper cable that I wired it with to ensure that the amplifier didn't starve for power and to leave room for future upgrades. The amplifier is nice and compact so it fit under the driver's seat with plenty of room to spare. The logo on top of the amplifier lights up a blue color when it is on. The amplifier has plenty of adjustments to get it dialed in with the rest of the system. The subwoofer box seems decently made and the Rockville logo is embroidered into the carpet. The subwoofer is stiff, but it has a good bit of excursion when the volume is turned up.Overall, I'm pleased with the performance of this setup and the clean sound quality. While it won't rattle the dashboard loose, it's still impressive given the price. And it's plenty enough for a Geo Metro without it getting ridiculous.

This complete sub/box/amp kit sounds good. I like to feel the bass in my music and this is just the right amount of bass. I’ve only had it installed a few days so I’m still Breaking it in so I haven’t even hit its true potential yet.

So don't let the 2 star review be all you see when I first opened the box on this I felt all my high school nostalgia come back. The big custom built speaker boxes with the flipped backwards subs and whatever wire you could find to get it all up and going. The fact is for under $200 this kit was awesome and so painless to install. Once up and going it hit so nice I was actually not expecting it. Enough to feel it and watch it vibrate everything in your vehicle but outside barely anything which I liked. Then was working intermittently one morning going to work. Then it just stopped no more boom boom. Didn't blow the speaker either. Would I buy again yes. And I sad it didn't last yes. But it could have been a fluke or bad unit.

I ordered this for a car of mine Iv been working on lately looking to add to the sound system. Looked like a great deal so I figured I’d try it out. Just got it in today took me maybe a hour to hook everything up. My amp was getting power but no sound from the sub. After looking back through everything I noticed the amp was completely turned down on everything setting so after some tuning it sounds great now. Came with everything needed and some. Looks great and sounds great. Hopefully they hold up for awhile. They only thing that I could complain about at all is maybe the speaker wire and remote turn on wire are to thin and could break easy. Rather than that seems like a great product and would buy it again

Got it and installed it myself today, pretty easy install for my car at least with not much experience. The bass is way more than i was expecting, I saw it was only like 300 watts amp after i bought it n started to regret, but after hearing it and tuning the amp i dont even believe it's only 300. The thing bumps pretty steezily if you tune the amp right. But dont tune it like you know what your doin. Unless you know what your doin. cuz itll ruin the sub. Then you'd be upset. Dont do that to yourself. The quality for the money is absolutely insane, if you're not wantin to spend 600 dollars like the guy at the store told you, just get this. Probably like another 100 or 2 for shop install but still half the price n it still makes a big boom boom. If i notice a change ill update.

When installing it’s super important you set up your amp correctly. In doing so you’ll get a nice sounding sub with plenty of power at 4 ohm the single ten in my 2004 Buick sounds great. So far no problems a week later. Helps to break them in a bit. Then start pushing the amp and speaker to a nice level.Edit: I set the amp using a oscilloscope. Now having it for about 2 months it sounds even better. It hits hard for What you get! Again setting the amp in a professional way will get you even better performance without killing your system! Even setting it with a multi meter will do the trick! But set it correctly! It’s best to break in the sub as well! I would buy again!
