After using Fog machines for years on video sets, I finally realized there is a BIG difference between Fog and Haze. This machine is a dream to use. Warms up pretty quickly, creates a nice, even haze with a very long hang time. The remote works, but is not intuitive to me. I never feel like I know exactly what I'm doing with it, but I manage to get the results I want so maybe it's just me. ProTip: buy the highest quality haze solution you can afford - you won't regret it. Highly recommended.

I have a carport on the front of my house that doubles as a stage and this year I decided to go all out with DMX lighting including moving heads and gobo projectors. While all this lighting is great without media in the air, the haze completes the look. While this is intended to be an indoor machine, it was effective in an outdoor environment so as long as air movement wasn't too strong to blow it all away. I experimented with different mounting locations while testing the light show and eventually ended up with having it on the ground at one corner of the stage. Turns out that when you actually have performers on the stage, airflow is different. If I had it to do again I think I would use 2 overhead from both sides of the stage. Still a very nice unit. Cleaned and put away and we will see what happens with next use.

The machine works nicely but the cord that attaches to the control has to be jiggled

On its lowest output (fog density) setting, and on it's most spaced-out/lengthy intervals between bursts, with fan only set at about 25%, this thing completely fogged up a church gymnasium in literally 3 minutes. To the point of having to shut it off to keep the fire alarm from triggering. On these lowest settings, this thing could easily haze (and I mean THICK haze/fog) 4 to 6 gymnasiums put together into one giant room in 5 minutes. This thing is no joke. In fact, even the 700-watt machine is overkill for nearly any venue smaller than a sports arena. Good grief. One note: Though the built-in fan works just fine, you really should have a good strong fan sitting next to the machine to project the fog outward a lot faster. I did this and could not believe the results this thing produces. VERY happy with the product, strongly recommend. BUT - make sure you get the additional warranty for the 700-watt machine, there are NO RETURNS for this machine otherwise.

I have been using a fog for my gigs for years and a fellow DJ told me to invest in a HAZE machine as it is easier to maintain the lighting visual look for my stage lighting.Well! He was right! This small have machine is small but very MIGHTY. It used less haze liquid and the removable reservoir to empty is great. To add, the machine is surprisingly quiet and easy to operate.Great price as well.

Junk. Didn’t work out of the box. Has a nice look, almost like Martin equipment, but must have never had a quality check. Returning for a refund.
