It worked great for the first day now it won’t turn on or light up unless I play with the remote control connection and even then it only shows two lines on the screen… not impressed at all

I have purchased a few items from Rockville for different vehicles. This head unit is for my pontoon. EASY install and great sound (even without an amp). I do have a powered sub (rockville) too.. which makes my boat sound awesome! ***** ON THE CHEAP!!

Sometimes it goes haywire does its own thing like jump modes while you’re listening to music. Or doesn’t pick up someone’s Bluetooth it has to be reset / fuse taken out and put back to refresh

The product Seems to be quality and sounds really great. The chrome bezel was a bear to remove and actually broke upon removal. They don’t make it easy to get off for installation.

This product far exceeded my expectations. The build quality is that you would expect from very high end equipment. Having said that the audio is great but if I could recommend anything that could be changed….. The stereo has bass and treble but I wish it would have had midrange control as well because I do find the midrange to be a little overwhelming.

I purchased two of these units. The good: Easy fit, easy BlueTooth connectivity and plenty loud (without an amplifier). The bad: oftentimes when I turn the unit on the volume reverts to the MAX setting. This MAX setting is not something that I configured -it's a glitch in my two units and if you look at other reviews you will discover this occurs in all of these units. This surge of MAX (volume) power will either blow your speakers or significantly shorten their lives. The REALLY BAD. One of my units just stopped working. It took over a week of back and forth emails to "AudioSavings" to determine how sure I was and if i wanted to go through with the warranty process. After I passed all of the tests I was finally given an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Of course I had to return the unit at my own expense and exactly one week AFTER it was confirmed they received the unit I received an email stating they had received my unit and were processing my resolution. That was THREE MONTHS AGO. Nothing heard since. I have since purchased the JBL unit and I am so much happier. I suggest you avoid this unit.

Tenía dudas por no conocer la marca pero es un excelente producto. Lo recomiendo para quien quiera modernizar el sonido de su lancha sin tener que gastar mucho.

Great head unit for the boat! It is easy to wire and use and really puts some power to the speakers without an amp even. Can’t go wrong with this head unit from what I have seen so far.The hole was needed to be enlarged for mounting compared to the clarion head unit it replaced. For all the 1-star reviews saying this unit doesn’t work... there are 2 power wires that you need to connect to power. The main red wire and the yellow memory wire. If you do not put power to the yellow memory wire, the unit will not power on.I’m very impressed with this head unit so far and it blows away the clarion I had in the boat previously. I don’t think I’ll even add an amp, it powers the kicker 8” speakers wonderfully!

I bought this radio because it promised to provide 72 watts per channel. My factory radio could not produce enough volume to be heard over the sound of the outboard at cruising speed. What they failed to tell me in the purchase details is that you only get 72 watts per channel if you install 2 ohm speakers. 4 ohm speakers, (which I have in my boat) will only produce 48 watts per channel. A big difference. As far as the radio is concerned, it works well, is still pretty loud and was easy to install. Just be aware that if you want maximum output you may have to change your speakers too.

Nice loud system with good bass (I like the +7 setting for bass). Don't need a subwoofer - could feel the bass through my legs on the front seats. Bluetooth worked fine with an Android Pixel 2 phone (I tested that I could walk 50 feet away and it still was working), and the USB worked fine with an old 8 GB FAT32 thumb drive that I had laying around.I had to enlarge the hole in the dash where the original Clarion stereo was - couldn't use a hole saw because a hole already existed (see pics). I just drilled dozens of small holes to enlarge the original hole. System didn't power on at first because I didn't connect the yellow wire to the accessory switch. I decided to connect the yellow accessory wire to the red wire so it is always powered on when the battery switch is turned on (this is fine because I always turn my battery off when not using the boat). I didn't want any issues so I ran 12 gauge duplex tinned marine wire from a fused battery circuit to the Rockville receiver - dedicated circuit. (see pic) Also, I ran 14 gauge duplex tinned marine wire to all speakers. The 13 year old speakers work just fine - can't find anything wrong with them so I won't replace them.Went out on the lake a couple of days ago and floated in the middle while cleaning the interior. Ran the system for an hour. No problems so far. Cranked it up to top volume of 40 briefly just to test it, but mostly while stopped I had the volume between 10 and 20.
