The Rockville REQ215 is an extremely high quality professional rack mountable equalizer. This is a 2 channel equalizer with 15 bands per channel. The main focus on this was sound quality and making it rugged and tough. We wanted to build a professional product that will instantly make a good speaker sound better, and after months of testing we know we did it! This is a 2/3 octave graphic EQ which gives you the ability to select between 0-6 dB or 0-12 dB cut, or boost. It boasts a frequency range of 25 Hz to 16 kHz. This graphic EQ also has a low cut crossover filter switch, with status LED, that helps remove rumble from mics. Another great feature is the bypass switch, with LED indicator, which is very convenient when doing sound checks. We added a sub output with frequency controls (30HZ - 200 HZ) which is something that we see a need for. Many brands for some odd reason do not give you a sub output and sub controls. We made sure to include this important function. If you want the best sounding EQ on the market at a great price, then we highly recommend you try out our REQ215. This unit produces a humm. Have tried on 3 different amps, change out cords. Proper ground to everything. Swapped out eq, hum went away. This thing is junk.I purchased one of these back in 2017, that unit still operates OK but has a slight hum. This unit? garbage out of the box! the hum is terrible! I also purchased the 31 band double eq it is junk as well. May be the power supply? I even grounded the unit chassis to the rest of the equipment. The hum may not be noticeable in a home environment, or if you keep the music going. However, I MC events in gymnasiums, during the times when no music is playing the hUM was intolerable. I have 3 amps, and 3 sets of speakers depending on the venue. BUy a better unit, or don't use an eq at all. ROCKVILLE is junk - Change my mind,

Una compra valiosa que bien valió la pena, respecto al costo beneficio, el ecualizador solo para será utilizado para modificar el monitoreo, no será empleado en la grabación de señales en nuestro estudio y desde esa perspectiva ha sido una excelente adquisición.

This may seem unfair to the manufacturers because it's unsubstantiated but I trust my gut.Immediately it came out of the box and I moved the controls and felt the quality I knew it was built for cheap. It worked. But the feel of 'good quality' was absent. That made the promotional hype appear as 'oversell'. It worked but I didn't trust its longevity. I returned it immediately and bought another ... a little more expensive but with a far more professional feel and therefore more trustworthy. I'm not saying it's bad. But good starts from the outside ... and it's always more than a 'pretty face'.

My experience is great for over 6 months now. Nearly everyday I have been using this device in my home as my entertainment/DJ center. I basically run my Behringer iNuke amp with this in the line immediately before it and yet proceeding my Behringer Mixer. Seriously great, I mean I'm the kind of guy who DJ's for close friends only, basically, at parties of various sizes so I need versatility and reliability at a good price though. I do not make tons of money with such a bad business plan, but my equipment has lasted this far. This equalizer has fit all my needs and sounds great. With other lower class heavy coil amps this equalizer may produce a slight buzz in line but that issue also depends on the grounding of the electrical circuitry, usually. All I can say is that my amps have computerized ground switching and audio cleaning for little to no buzzing and just crisp sound. This Equalizer being added to the sound engineering process has given me much more sound separation and sound manipulation abilities to my system. Like I said, those of you who beat your equipment up and toss it off of big rental trucks every week for gigs. If you have rough crews doing things like this or you do this yourself, your equipment isn't going to last anyway. This is cheap, built alright but not proven tough. I have this tied to a system capable of putting out crisp clear sound at over 4,000 watts and it sounded great for the whole party too. And even though I dont run my system harder like that all the time I do run the system very often and so far I am pleased, thank you for getting me a pristine well functioning one!

I have two stereo amps, a 1000w amp and a 400w amp. I wanted to use my 400w amp for my Yamaha 12" DJ speakers, and my 1000w amp in bridged mode for my 15" subwoofer. This EQ seemed to fit the bill. I received it fairly quickly. Plugged it all in, it has only one subwoofer output and it is an XLR male connection. I have the correct cables for everything. I plugged the sub-out to my 1000w amp, and nothing. I then disconnected it from sub-out and connected it to the line out, and it worked *(full range output to my subwoofer amp, of course). I submitted an RMA through Amazon and received the replacement in two days. It has the exact same issue. I will be returning both of these and buying something different. I really was hoping it would work for me.

Purchased this item. Came packed very well. Set it up and tested it out. I replaced a different brand that had died out. I will say the sound quality is very good. I am completely satisfied with it. Sounds better than my previous equalizer. I also bought the Rockville 4 channel mixer with blue tooth capability. Very happy as well with it. I am using them both with my powered speakers. Could not ask for a better sound

I'm glad i bought this equalizer because it has two separate volume controls too offset my hearing loss in my right ear.The sound is nice and clean and it is a very nice unit overall. When watching movies the voice sound was too low frequency for me and I needed a higher sound pitch to make out what they were saying. This unit does that very well.

I have a QX8000 quadraphonic stereo with 4 speakers. It just sounded dead in my living and dining room combo so I bought theRockville REQ215 Dual 15 Band 1/3 Octave Graphic Equalizer. My music has been brought back to life using this unit. The clarity thathas literately jumped out of the stereo speakers is amazing. You push the button and it is like being transported in sound! Now we have "Presents" whereas before I was sitting in a dead room. I love the ability to rack mount the unit and the professional look that it gives my set up. I looked at many different types of equalizers and what they did or didn't do before my purchase and I am totally happy with my choice! It makes wonderful sound to my ears! It's 5 stars all the way!

My Fisher equalizer (one channel) is dead after 30 years of use. So I need a new one and Rockville fits my consideration.First, it is for home Karaoke, not professional outings like wedding or birthday party. Price is reasonable ($75). Sound is very decent (better when compared to my old Fisher one). We could control low, mid and high-frequency easily on each channel. If there is feedback from mic, we could tweak one of those frequency slider. Plus there is output for sub.For con, power connector is a little bit loose because one time it loses the power due to a lousy connector. For system setup, mic goes to a Yamaha mixer, then route [insert] to PC (with a very good E-mu sound card for reverb/echo), music ~ mostly from Youtube ~ also plays through PC which connected to TV for sing-along, then route both signals back out to the mixer, then to this equalizer, amp and speakers.
