The speaker stands were very robust, high-quality, perfect finish, and easy to put together. They hold a lot of weight and the vibration pads. Eliminate any rattles at least on the speakers that I mounted. I highly recommend these.

These were easy to put together. I ran the speaker wire through the stand before installing the base. These are pretty steady so far as my 12 lb cat keeps jumping on top of the speakers they are holding and launching himself off. The speakers have stayed in place.

I got the 21" stands and they were fairly easy to assemble, only 2 screws per stand for top and bottom plate. The bottom plate comes with the rubber feet already attached, and the pointy carpet feet come in a separate bag, which I didn't use. The stands are great, you can't go wrong with heavy duty metal.I optioned to run my speaker wires through the pole, which does allow for hiding wires, but may not be for everybody. I used to run a lot of low-voltage wiring, so I happened to have a glo-stick I used for fishing the wire through the pole, which took just a moment to do after taping the wire to the pole. If you don't have a glo-stick, a very thin pole, or a long pull-chain to use as a guide when running the wires through the poles, then you may just want to opt for running the wires on the outside, or face some time and frustration. Also, you'll want run the wires through the poles BEFORE installing the top and bottom plate.I did have an issue in which I had to contact the seller, who responded very quickly and got my issue resolved to my complete satisfaction. Thank you Jon!

At first I was unsure of the support they would give these 40lb speakers, but they are a better than I expected. The two rubber insulation stick on pads that the speakers sit on was a plus which I haven't seen before. The only modifications I made was to drill 4 holes in the top of each stand to match the four center punch marks Bose puts on the 901's for balance and fastened them with 4 small wood screws. I also drilled a hole in the tapered opening where the top plate bolts on the steel pole so I could run the 18 gauge speaker wire directly to the + and - speaker connections, that are on the bottom center of a 901. This was the only way I could be sure the speakers would not compress the speaker wire. Very straightforward process for anyone that can make accurate measurements. My series VI 901's sound the best I have ever heard them sound. Whoever can up with the phrase "No Bass, it Must Be Bose.," must have boom boxes for home stereos and drive around rattling the steel roofs at gas stations with their car stereos. Thanks Rockville and thank you Bose.

Well made and sturdy metal speaker stands that are a good value and work well. The speaker cable needs to be inserted before assembly; not after as shown in the instructions. The metal rings like a bell when struck and adding some deadening material like a bag of sand or beans to the central pillar is probably a good idea after assembly.Rockville has a large decal of their brand name on the central stand pillar which I faced to the back. The decal is not something attractive to see in your listening room. The manufacturer includes some nice adhesive foam rubber insulation pads for the top plate of the standsI am pleased with this product, but took one star off my review because the top plate will rotate some if bumped or moved. I added a lock washer to take care of this issue, but there is zero space in the concave area of the top plate to accommodate where the bolt head is screwed in . Rockville needs to fix this issue so the top plate remains stationary after tightening the bolt.
