The dB12 is a mono amplifier with 2,000 watts peak output, and 500 watts Dyno Certified power. Here at Rockville we offer the best value in car audio. We therefore want to make it easy for you to compare our products to any brands on the market. The peak rating can be used to compare with brands who use peak ratings such as Boss and Power Acoustik while the Dyno Certified RMS rating can be used to compare with top brands such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, etc. One of the tricks to determine the real power of a car amplifier is to multiply the fuse rating by 10 to determine the true RMS power. This formula almost always works within 20 %. The dB12 features a Maxi fuse with a rating of 60 Amps. Although we rate these conservatively at 500 watts Dyno Certified @ 2 ohms, this amplifier puts out more power than this! This amp has a fully adjustable 12dB/Octave crossover with differential circuitry. Other features include a subsonic filter, a fully adjustable bass equalizer, mute and delay soft start technology, a phase control switch, and a dashboard subwoofer control for added convenience.

Claimed RMS, runs cool and strong. Very nice for the price compared to so many in its price range claiming big power that don’t put it out. It also runs much cooler than my smaller class AB. Nice booming bass from a 12” JL stealth box, sealed.

This amp is actually pretty awesome! I was skeptical due to the price and the make because I never heard of the brand. But I am happily surprised. It has plenty of power and pushes 2 12" subs easily!! I highly recommend it for a budget friendly amp! Sturdy and durably built. Its a very good buy.

My son bought this for his car and after 2 1/2 months it started smoking. Contacted seller and they said I had a 1 year warranty on it. They asked me a could question one was what speaker I had it hooked up to. A skar 12” 2 ohm subs. Skar hooks up to one input. So they tell me the resistance is 1 ohm and will not warranty it. I ohm check the speakers, it ohms out to 1.78 ohms. Took the amp apart to repair it. It burnt out 5 resistors and 3 transistors. So now I will repair it myself. Be careful with this warranty.

The amplifier is easy to install, sound quality is very good, no distortion, no over heating.. but with any amplifier you must use a heavy gauge wire for all connections , it allows for the amplifier to not work as hard, and most important... The amplifier will not over heat during long periods of use. I matched the amplifier rms, with the speaker rms, both the same, and I used the same brand speaker as the amplifier, a great combination, great sounds and performance

Not even close to 2000 watts. I own an actual 2000watt amp that pounds my two 12’s. This sub could barely get the same subs to move. I actually couldn’t tell if they were even on. I had to return the amp as it was absolutely useless.However, if you were using this with a 1000watt or less setup, I’m sure it would get the job done. The bass control is a nice inclusion as well.

Got this amplifier to power a 1200W (peak) 15" Rockford Fosgate HX2, and I can surely say it has ample power to power the thing. The amp came with a certificate of testing, stating that it was actually pushing out 563 Watts RMS at 2 ohms, so I'm not really sure where the 2000W number comes from, but considering my subwoofer is rated to 600W RMS it was a perfect fit. The Rockville logo lights up when the amp is powered, and looks awesome. When looking for amplifiers to power my sub, this is by far the cheapest with the power category, and as I have noticed with rockville products before, you definitely get the most bang for your buck. So far it has been doing a spectacular job, and I cruise around with the included volume knob at half power most of the time just because there is so much power in that system. Overall a great buy and I am NOT disappointed.

Thing thing is amazing. I've had many different setups over the years but I've stuck with my Kicker L7 and gone through a few different amps. My last amp was an Arc Audio rated at 1200 rms at 1ohm and it died on me after two years. I wasn't sure what to expect with Rockville but I'm glad I gave them a shot. The CEA rated power on this amp may be a bit misleading or it is severly underrated. This amp pushes my L712 harder than I knew it could go. The sound quality is excellent and the tune ability is great. I am floored at how well this amp works for such a low price.

this amp is really good it comes in a very nice box with good padding it comes with a bass remote which is very cool and it has a well put instruction book for any kind of amp you purchase and over all it looks really good it feels solid it lights up. over all its a really high quality amp and sounds amazing.
