Good sound a d performance. Both outside speaker boxs were damaged badly. It's great that they are packed in two boxes. The second one as strong as the outside one saved them.

Not the clearest sound, but paired with a powerful amp it delivers strong and adequate sound for a home entertainment system and karaoke. I doubt you'll find better for the price

I created a personal hobby space with in my garage. I brought the Denon AVR-610 receiver in there and wanted to use book-shelf speakers. I tried the Sony SS-Sc5's that are raved about but was disappointed. It needed way more bass so I installed the Sony SA-CS9 Subwoofer still not full sound or volume.. I looked for three-way book shelf speakers and they don't really exist. The Rockville 68 is like a TALL ( 42" ) bookshelf speaker and in fact I put them on shelves 30" above the floor. The Rockville 68 looks like a high end speaker and have got compliments on them. They are on the front channel and the Sony SS-CS9's are on the rear channel where they can only get 20 watts. They sound great, provide rich sound and volume AND they cost about the same as the Sony SS-SC5's. For the price, you get so much more. The Sony have too much high end with a "super tweeter" that goes up to 50 Khz. In my mind they are not 3-ways as advertised- no mid driver. The Rockville 68 can handle more power and will not disappoint and I am certainly glad I found them! They are shipped with double packaging for protection.

Great sound. Well packaged in thick double boxed cardboard and styrofoam padding from top to bottom.

Affordable speakers aren't supposed to sound perfect. They sound alright when paired with a subwoofer and good bookshelf speakers. Strictly a midrange sound with muffled bass, not much punch.

After buying a new turntable, I was looking for some decent speakers that didn't bust the bank and I'm actually really blown away and happy with these bad boys! Sound clarity is really good and the sound is so loud!. No complaints yet from me! You're looking for really good speakers for a good price , check out Rockville!Update: Speakers are doing fantastic as of 12/25/2024! No issues no blown out! Still recommend these speakers and when I do a Movie/tv room sound set up, I will be ordering and using these!
