I do a lot of fine, small woodworking pieces for customers, spreading glue around with your fingers is okay on big pieces, but when it comes to doing small, intricate pieces such as quarter inch or even 1/8 inch plyboard accuracy is all that much more important.I would use little pieces of cardboard or even used up strips of sandpaper, but this got a little tedious so I opted to purchase this little brush with theso I opted to purchase this little brush with the on the other end, any extra glue was easily scraped up and removed, specially in tight corners, removing the need to sand for the most part.I think what I like about this The most is the fact that you can leave the glue to dry up and then just pull the glue out of the rubber bristles and just scrape up any access of the other end as well.A couple of times I’ve washed it under hot water just to get it perfectly clean, never hurts to look after your tools a little better than you would normally, I keep this brush right next to my bottle of wood blue so I’m never losing it, I’m tempted to get a few other bits and pieces to go with it but as of right now, it works perfectly fine as it is.I thought that maybe the glue would dislodge a few of the bristles, but they are soft enough so they don’t just pull off and break, so as far as your durability it is definitely a plus.It is obviously easy to use and so as far as I’m concerned, definitely value for money

Good brand that you can not go wrong with. Works as designed. Glue removes easily once dried. No complaints.

I was not sure how a brush end on a silicone spreader would work, but it does a very good job of spreading the glue right where it's needed evenly. The small spatula end is good for pushing glue sawdust mixture into small holes and cracks. I've been very happy with it.

It does what it claims to do. It is very effective at getting an even coverage of glue on larger pieces and cleanup is a breeze. Just let the glue dry and it peels right off.

Im allergic to adhesives, and try not to get them on my hands and yes I have try to use gloves but that is like useless, so a long glue stick works the best.

I have used this brush on a few projects now and it really helps reduce the mess of gluing up.Cleanup is as easy as promised -- either rinse it off in the sink, or wait until the glue drys and pull it right out of the brush. The head is cleverly shaped so you can lay it on a flat surface without the bristles touching and getting glue on the surface.

Does a nice job of spreading glue. Clean up is super easy as well because if you dont rinse the glue out before it sets you can just pull off the dried glue easily from the silicone bristles. It's a bit pricey because it's Rockler and honestly if you shop around you can find others for less that will do the same job.

Me gusto mucho, se aplica y se distribuye muy bien el pegamento, y solo hay que esperar a que se seque el pegamento y se quita muy fácil, lo recomiendo

I will preface this review by saying that this brush is in no way necessary to achieve quality glue ups on your latest project. That being said, it is a wonderful upgrade to those who are currently using a finger. No longer do you need to wipe and clean your fingers during the job, or be careful not to touch anything with a gluey finger. After wrecking a few shirts this way, and getting sick of glue all over my hands, I purchased one of these. This is the perfect size for both my husband and I to use, and we have 8 inches of height difference between us if that gives you any idea. Also, the people who designed this were brilliant in giving two different ends. The brush part is perfect for long lengths that need gluing. The flat tip is perfect for nooks and crannies like dovetails or finger joints. The best part about this is the clean up. Because it isn't a traditional brush, it doesn't get ruined if you don't wash it right away, and instead, the glue peels right out. No more having to throw away brushes that have become hard as a rock with dried glue.

The Rockler Silicone Glue Brush works great. I have been using it for about two months now. I have built in two walls of library, with forty shelves, all from scratch - meaning I have been gluing up a storm. The brush made it very easy to get an even layer of glue across the various wood pieces, as good or better than using the finger that has been working since I was a kid (over forty years of use from the index finger, I will let you know if the brush lasts as long). The best part of the brush is that I don't have to keep wiping and washing glue off my finger. The brush is easy to clean, the dried glue just breaks off of the flat side of the brush, and crumbles out of the brush side. There is some residual glue left inside the brush side that does not seem to adversely affect the use. Overall, great product that is reasonably priced. Torch.
