I purchased these as a precaution for a recent flight. It was the first time taking this pet and I wasn't sure how he was going to react with all the activity and prolonged time in the carrier. We had no messy incidents, so I can't really give it the 5 star rating, but feel confident in giving it the 4 star because I went with a carrier that fit the TSA guidelines and it was a good fit. Perhaps a half inch longer, but easily tucked up in the back without interfering with the zippers or obstructing the mesh screen, therefore not obstructing airflow into the carrier.I think I expected a vinyl pad, so I was pleased to see it is more of a quilted fabric. So simple to remove and machine wash without any special considerations, and so much easier than the "waterproof" pad that came with the carrier. I simply tossed it in the washer and used the same pad for the return flight. I would actually feel confident in removing the factory pad and using this in its place if I travel this way again.I've used disposable training pads in the past with other animals and always with disastrous results. This stayed in place so much better and I felt it would have been sufficient for a minor incident. I was traveling with a 12 pound cat, for reference, so my experience/recommendation would be based on a small breed.I am pleased with this purchase as it included 2 washable and reusable pads - making it not only useful, but environment friendly.

We actually bought these for our elderly cat’s litter tray. Really well made. Soft and flexible.Such a great alternative to disposables.

These are far superior to disposable pads we've used in the past. We've yet to have leaks with these, and they have proven to be incredibly absorbent. Pee odor is much better controlled with these as well. Cleaning is a snap -- run them through the washing machine with warm water, hang them up to dry, and they're ready to go. They've held up well over the past several months. Reusable, washable, and better-performing than disposables. What's not to love?

Me gusto mucho!

These pee pads are awesome! I am considering ordering more. I ordered them as a lining for my whelping box. Overall they held up great and have even held up against heavy washing sinceninuse them so much. I now use them for my puppy. It is overall very absorbent and has minimal splatter. My dog being so large, 75lb pitbull he tends to splatter everywhere on the smaller traditional pads. These are nice and large and really seem to stand the test of time. I bought the 4 pack for the added convenience of having some many. I wish they were a little more affordable so I could purchase more of them on a regular basis. I use them now for when I run out of the disposable ones and to line the crates.

I got 2 of the 30 x 36" size to use in front of the back door in case of accidents and for my foster pets who aren't quite housetrained. I have 2 large dogs and one tiny dog. The pad is soft like a piece of flannel fabric and I don't know how it is waterproof but it works great. When it's been used (it is a little difficult for me to tell it's been used...I usually need to rely on my nose), I throw it into the washer on sanitary cycle + pre-rinse with plenty of soap and a little bleach (I also add the Arm & Hammer brand detergent booster because urine smells bad) - no fabric softener - and throw it in the dryer for use next time. When it's not used as a piddle pad, it's presence at the back door neatly absorbs water from 12 paws marks after rain or water play. The pad is soft - other pads have a plastic or rubber bottom that seems intriguing to the dogs and they want to chew on it - but this one is all the same fabric and is soft enough that the dogs will also lay on it. I used to buy the paper/cotton puppy pads but didn't like the waste, and the dogs used to use them and then tear them into tiny pieces which was not fun to clean up. They don't try to tear these up.
