I needed a larger bag to carry my extra battery for my ebike. I have been carrying the battery in my side pannier but it is a bit heavy for it. So I ordered this trunk bag to carry my battery up on my rack. First, the bag is big enough for my battery. The bag has two inside pockets. One is open the other has a zipper. It also has reflective print on the sides. The velcro straps securely fastens the bag to my rack. Now for other notes. The sides of the bag are fleemsy without much support. I added more reflective tape because I ride a lot at night and want the bag to stand out more, personal preference. Here's the real reason for 3 stars. The way the top of the bag closes is a terrible design to me. Velcro strips on the opening sides and then fold the top down with a couple straps to lock. If I have much in the bag there is a big problem for keeping water out. A rain cover would have been nice! I think a big improvement in the design would have been an expandable top with zippers. Unzip to expand, fold and zip when extra space is not needed. With a zipper to secure the opening. It would be more secure and better to keep the moisture out. (Used on others) I have other bags that would be more secure and rain proof but they are too small to hold my battery. Since this bag is large enough to hold my battery I will continue to use it until I get a better bag for my needs. If you need a large bag for items that are water resistant and not too bulky this bag may be okay for you.

Pros :- Two straps underneath with premium Velcro to hold the bag in place to the rack. In addition, there are other straps attached to the bag that can interlaced with the bike rack too.- I bought this for an Aventon Aventure V2 electric bike. The length of the bag fits a spare battery perfectly while having room for additional items. I bought this bag originally to bring my second battery along for long trail rides.- The outer shell is protective and has a nice, smooth finish to it. I like the straps on top to either tighten the bag or adjust it based on what's inside.- Velcro. The Velcro on this bag is freaking nice, the seal for the bag itself is incredibly sticky. I have a little bit of OCD so I spend some time lining the Velcro up (you don't have to, I'm being strange). If you take care of the Velcro it will last a very long time.Neutral / Soft Con- The bag can be secured very well to bike rack, and it has a shoulder strap for easy carry along. I have done it a few times for when I have biked into the office. The Velcro is so good though, it's a pain to unstrap the bag from the bike rack π
I do not see this as a bad thing because I take off the bag when needed, but if you would like to take it on and off regularly there is some work. Understand though, the bag nails it for sturdiness and feeling that is secured to your bike.Overall, I took shot at this bag with no reviews but the dimensions fit my battery. I am not disappointed and bag is definitely the money spent. I even bought a pair of gloves of them that strangely fit my hands perfectly from Rockbros.

This thing is pretty but it has all the utility of a cardboard box.I can't imaging using it for much beyond a grocery tote. The picture I've used is cropped from the manufacturers listing and is meant to suggest what you might carry on one of your rides. I don't know about you but the idea of my cell phone sliding around with my pump and tools does not give me a feeling of security. If you like gym bags or carry a purse with one large compartment then this may be just the type of carrier you are looking for. It's sturdy, sleek and would look nice on the back of many a bicycle. If however you prefer bag with separate compartments to hold your gear then you should keep looking.

I normally use a milk crate on the back of my 90s beater MTB that sometimes lives at home, sometimes at my workplace. Inside the milkcrate is a small bag big enough for things like 2 or 3 books that I don't want bouncing around, and I can just drop my laptop bag in and go.I won't use this bag regularly because I can't fit the other bag inside it, or at least not easily. However, if your carrying needs are different than mine, this thing might be perfect. It attaches and detaches pretty easily from the (I believe) Planet Bike rack that I've had for probably a couple decades and large laptop bag carrying capacity aside, it is pretty spacious. It also seems well made.

I like that I can put my helmet and other necessities in this when riding my bike. It also has a shoulder strap if you want to carry it like a duffle bag. Very helpful if you need to park your bike, and donβt want to leave your valuables. Itβs lightweight and works well.

If you like gym bags or carry a purse with one large compartment then this may be just the type of carrier you are looking for. It's sturdy, sleek and would look nice on the back of many a bicycle. The exterior material will keep water out. The sides of the bag are rigid and the bottom and side inserts keeps the bag from collapsing. It is a good design. There are plenty of straps for attaching to your bike and plenty of straps to take the bag with you.
