This is generous amount of quality rock wool for the money. It was very easy to set around theburners. And the flames are far more attactive now. Thank you for the value at a low price.

Initially I purchased a lighter rock wool that didn’t produce the glow or realism of this product. Very happy with the outcome with this one. I just installed it so I cannot comment on its longevity.

The embers are realistic and did what they are supposed to do. However, if your fireplace didn't have embers to start with it might not be smart to try to add it as we did. It lead us having a gas leak and evacuating the house until we figured out it was because we added the embers. They covered the burner in some areas to add the effect of burning embers and the natural gas didn't ignite, leading to a gas leak. Just an advisory, nothing against the product.
