I purchased this over the summer and got a lot of use out of it. It's very functionally sound for anybody doing rock hounding or out searching for gold, like I was. It'll break rocks easy, and it'll help you clean out.Any crevices where materials may have collected. . Really well built very easy to use.Comfortable, and the size is just about perfect for packing around.

I read all the 1 star reviews and decided to get this low quality Mattock. Yes, even when I seen the pics of it being bent and the handle coming with scruffs/dents. So guess what? For what I paid for it, I am so impressed with this Mattock. I bought it to break hard Texas dirt, when I am out Metal Detecting. I took it out this morning and discovered it won't bend unless you use it the wrong way. The handle is comfortable and it feels good in my hand. Either while just holding it or using it. So go figure, why there are any 1 star or 2 star rating. It is well worth the price. Only 1 petty complaint! It could be more balanced, just a Itty bitty tiny, not worth bringing up, bit. Lol you won't be disappointed. Unless, at this price you are expecting a ESTWING or Fiskar.

I recently purchased this forged rock pick and brick hammer for some home improvement projects.The handle has anti-slip grip, which is reducing hand fatigue during extended use.This hammer is excellent for brickwork, light demolition, and outdoor activities.

I wish the handle didn't have finger grooves. I have large hands and the finger grooves don't fit me and with them on one side it can be a bit uncomfortable in my hand.
