The hammer head is not flat. It's very hard to use the hammer. They need better product control

This is one of those tools that I probably don't really need but that was so cool I couldn't pass up the chance to get one in my hands. I love it. I actually have a good few uses for it in mind, including masonry projects in the backyard, general camping use, and rock collecting (we have a tumbler). The grip is comfortable, it looks and feels great, and it seems like it will last forever, though of course a rubber grip will wear out in due time. I have no experience using this type of tool, so I'm not a great judge of how well designed it is, but it certainly seems like both ends of this thing are well suited to a variety of tasks. This is carbon steel, so prone to rust. I got the one with the black coating. It doesn't specify what the coating is, but I think it will help with rust. I'll have to remember to clean it and oil it after use, either way, to keep it rust-free.

This Rock Pick Hammer is beautifully made and well-crafted. The hammerhead is constructed from high-quality steel, making it sturdy and durable for easily breaking rocks. The pointed tip is sharp and effective for chipping rocks and extracting samples. The soft rubber, anti-slip, shock-absorbing handle is ergonomically designed, offering a comfortable grip even during extended use without causing fatigue.Weighing 21 oz, it is compact and easy to operate with one hand, yet powerful enough for rock chipping. This tool is versatile, suitable for geological studies, rock collecting, outdoor adventures, and construction work. I primarily use it on outdoor trips to collect interesting stones and build shelters or fire pits. It's efficient and convenient, but it's best to wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from flying debris.

Rock Pick Hammer, 21 oz Chipping Brick Hammer with Rubber Grip for Geological Study and Rock Hounding (Pointed Tip)First impressions: Nice, well made rock chipping hammer. The head is well crafted, and the handle is molded rubber and feels good in the hand.Installation/setup: Use to break rocks and cliff sides to remove rare minerals or precious stones.Final thoughts: I got this to keep in my car to use on on roadsides or when I wander out in the desert. The hammer is ready to use and works really well. It seems to be made all in one piece and would be really hard to break. The hammer is all you really need to search for things like fossils or the like. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Although I think it's designed as a field pick, it's actually a perfect light duty masonry hammer. Good for chipping and tapping.
