I put up a Nativity Creche. Thanks Amazon for the ontime delivery. The small size is perfect FOR ME. The steel is the perfect color and is bendable. I don't feel a large display would be appropriate for me in a small place. But...When Christmas Eve arrived in Tonga and Fiji, I took down my regular display of peppermint candy canes, snowy wreath filled with shiny colorful ornaments and turned off the snow flake blizzard projector. I switched the holiday music to more religious songs. This was hard to do. I got compliments on my display. One neighbor called it "pretty". I was very proud of my funtime Christmas look.But there was nothing showing THE REASON FOR THE SEASON in my regular display. For years and decades I shrugged by shoulders about this. But another neighbor put up a pagan religious display for the Christmas season. That got my attention. So I was compelled to put up a nativity scene which were COMMONLY displayed outdoors when I was a child. So now I can reveal THE REASON FOR THE SEASON in case there is any question in 2024. And now I will have a new tradition of a fun Christmas display until Dec 24 and then I will switch to the small Nativity Creche.
