I've had these for 3 years now and I LOVE them. I am definitely buying another pair. The rubbery handle grips eventually slid off after about a year, but the tool is so useful that I just wrapped it again with some bicycle handlebar tape and they were right as rain.

The kids bought my husband a few of the old Craftsman produced product decades ago. These were pretty much as good as the really old ones - which I still use ALL the time and have two different sizes. They save me many frustrating hours, so I keep pairs in different places around the house where I might need them and decided to purchase another one. This style makes it easier to work, especially when you have arthritis. I do wish they came in a wider variety of sizes.

In a recent trip down memory lane, I lamented the loss of my Robogrips. Since Sears is also but a memory, I wondered if these magical pliers still existed. Well, thankfully they do, and I've been using these all over the place for odd jobs where I needed a pair of pliers. The ingenious design is very intuitive in a "they just work" kind of way. Keep in mind they aren't quite as strong as a good pair of regular pliers, but they hold up well with moderate use.

After using one at work I knew I needed one at home. It does what several other tools do but I don’t have to look for them. Great price, good size, and lightweight for my small hands.

I have the original Robogrip stored with the regular tools but I wanted something new and clean just for kitchen use (like for those bottles with the pull caps and plastic tabs that break your fingers to open!) I didn't realize how much use I would get out of this. I would recommend it as a gift for a new homemaker and even for a bridal shower utensil gift as it's one of the most useful tools you could have in your kitchen. Was worth every penny. Saves your hands!

This is my go-tool for opening/unfastening a wide variety of objects (garden hose, bolts, nuts, etc). Comfortable grip. Good quality. Performs perfectly, better than most mainstream wrenches. Looks like it does the job and it does!

I lost my large gripper in a plane wreck 6 years ago and really missed them. They are on the bottom of a river in Alaska. I also have a small one but they both get used more than any other tools in my box. Those two and a screwdriver will do most everything.

Over 20 years ago I got a pair of self-adjusting pliers and they proved to be the best tool I had and still have in my tool box. I saw this smaller version and I decided to add a second one to my toolbox. However, I did not realize the it was only 7" and not 9" like my original. My mistake, as I did not read the description. I was so excited to find them. I am keeping the 7" and now have two different sizes. It has already come in handy for smaller jobs. I consider this type plier far superior to any other plier.
