Your cart is empty.Infrared thermometers are used to measure a surface temperature, the user aims the IR Thermometer at the target, presses a button, and reads the temperature display. The device has an optical lens that collects the radiated infrared energy from the object and focuses it on the detector. The detector converts the energy into an electrical signal that feets amplified and displayed as a temperature reading. An infrared thermometer measures temperature by sensing the magnitude of radiated energy at infrared frequencies. Using this data and the actual temperature of the detector, the thermometer calculates the temperature of the surface that emitted the energy.This product features SoC (System-on-a-Chip) Technology. I use this tool for two things one is HVAC/R and the other purpose is to check temps on my kiln used for pottery. For HVAC stuff it’s phenomenal no issues at all. I cant use it fully for kiln because i fire things to 2269 degrees Fahrenheit so it barely gets half way other than that i would highly recommend this for anyone who wants it for lower than 1000 degrees. Ten stars for me.

I use the infrared thermometer for measuring the A/C air in my automobiles, give my wife's oven a check to see if the oven temperature matches the TIF7610 and also use it to check the thermostat housing on my autos to see if the temp. gauge inside the auto matches the TIF7610. It's so easy to use and you get an instant temp. read out from the TIF7610.
