These are great when they work. Burned out after 2 month use. Company did replace it free of charge. Hopefully the replacement will last more than 2 months.

Works for a few times, then burns out. Bought 2 of these in 2 years with both the same results. Not buying another one. Waste of very expensive equipment that don't last and not reliable.

The product does an adequate job it does increase the pressure in the tank for 410A which decreases my charging time I'm not sure about the durability I've had it for just a months.

Tried to use this the other day when temperatures were high worked ok, but the hot water bucket seems to work better? I guess hot water bucked pressurizes the whole tank apposed to just the small area of the refrigerant tank? It will come in handy when I have no hot water source I'm sure good idea to have it on your truck just in case.. Price was good and it looks like it should last awhile?

I find that this fits both new refrigerant as well as recovery cylinders easily with the fairly long velcro strap that is provided to secure the blanket to the cylinders. This has paid for itself in time saved by enabling me to continue charging using a cylinder that is getting low on refrigerant. No need to disconnect and go grab another cylinder w/ more refrigerant. I use it just on my cylinders to help push refrigerant into the system. I have not used it to aid in refrigerant recovery from a system. I have a heat gun that I would probably use for that. As others have said make sure you only plug this in when you have the blanket wrapped around a cylinder that is going to act as a heat sink otherwise you could damage the blanket.

If you add refrigerant in the winter this is for you. It heats up fast (instant) and allows you to add refrigerant without having to have a bucket of water. I use an extension cord with alligator clips to attach to one side of the contactor and ground to allow me to use this at the condensing unit. great product
