I'm using these to power remote security cameras that are attached to light poles on a 277vac industrial circuit. I like how compact it is and it was very easy to wire it in.Here's a tip for the DIY people. On a 277vac lighting / Industrial circuit there's a brown wire that is the hot AKA live wire. Connect the brown wire to the black wire on the transformer module. The gray wire is the neutral wire, connect this to the white wire on the transformer. From that splice or wire nut of white wires run another piece of white wire with the red wire to whatever you're trying to power, like in my case a power outlet receptacle. Of course then there is the ground, green. Stay safe! Shut off those breakers first and check the power with your multimeter anyway. 240vac and up will BITE and sometimes it won't let go.

The transformers was easy to install and delivered as promised, 120VAC output. This allows me to install a standard light fixture instead of a fluorescent 240V pocket light.

The Robertson 3P101133 Step Down Voltage Transformer works excellent for dropping the voltage from 277 volts to 120 volts have used these transformers on commercial jobs would recommend these step down transformers to anyone needing to step down the voltage on a fixture.

This worked wonderfully in a hotel corridor where the designer required a retro looking bulb that was not available in 277v. It fit inside the standard box in the wall behind the fixture. It allowed for 277v to pass on to other fixtures farther down the load side.
