Easy to install and setup. After driving I had to adjust it a little bit that's easy to do. Really improves the steering of my RV. I would recommend this for every motorhome.

Motor home stays steady on the road. Great upgrade from the OME stabilizer on my E-450 chassis. Installed it myself, you do need to order the bracket hardware separately.

We just purchased a new 2024 Jayco Redhawk 29XK motorhome in Nashville, on our way home to the Memphis area we were very displeased in how it handled on the interstate with potholes and ruts. I was all over the place. Major bump steer feedback. After going online to research this I found this is a very common issue and ran across the Roadmaster Stabilizer kit. The difference is night and day. We drove six hours this past weekend and WOW. It all but self corrects. 99% gone are the issues I had the week before.I would certainly recommend this product. Very easy to install.

This is just a review of the problems I had during installation. It is too soon to evaluate how well the Reflex Steering Stabilizer works. The first oversight is that the instructions don't tell you how much to tighten the end nuts on either end the stabilizer. These nuts determine the clamping force the polymer cushions put on the mounting brackets. I called Roadmaster to find out how much the cushions should be "squished" by tightening the nuts. The answer was to not squish the cushions, just make them tight. The second oversight was discovered on my first test drive. I was getting a clunk when I turned a corner, then another clunk when I completed the turn. The bolt on the spring collar that secures the spring in position on the shock was not tightened during manufacturing. The collar was sliding on the shock body each time I turned. Another call to Roadmaster to find out what torque to use on the collar bolt. Tech support said 65 ft-lb. This would be appropriate for a M10 class 12.9 bolt. When I checked the collar bolt it was a M10 class 10.9 bolt. The correct torque is 52 ft-lb. After getting the collar bolt torqued, the second test drive went better and I got the adjustment dialed in. Will plan to update this review after an extended drive.

What a difference! I have a new Motorhome and on my way back home, I thought I was going to get my fingers torn from my hand by the steering wheel when we hit some uneven pavement. Installed this in next to no time and the steering damper made a HUGE difference. You will notice the steering wheel is a little heavier when maneuvering, but this is something the factory should have installed.

Purchased the RSSC and RBK24 install kit for my class C RV. Night and day difference in driveability and over handling to the stock steering stabilizer on the E450 chassis. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to others looking to upgrade steering stabilizer on their RV.

Installed this steering stabilizer on my 2021 E450 Class C Sunseeker 2550 along with a Hellwig front sway bar. The installation bracket that replaces the factory bracket does fit, but it's tight. This is especially true if you're adding a Hellwig sway bar, which I highly recommend, as the Roadmaster and Hellwig brackets fit very close together.Leave the steering bracket bolts a bit loose, then install and tighten the swaybar links and mounts, then tighten the stabilizer brackets. That worked well for me.Adding both of these was a great improvement in stability when passing large trucks, large trucks were passing me, or with the nasty crosswinds we experienced on our first trip from L.A. to Arizona. Also added the rear Hellwig sway bar and rear Bilstein shocks. Definitely a major improvement in stability.

Perfectly fit with our 2020 Coachmen Class C RV with Ford E350 chassis! The best upgrades we did so far! The installment instruction is bit confusing for beginner (like me). I couldn't tighten the nuts enough so the whole unit spins. I tried a few times and eventually solved it by using an appropriate wrenches (bigger). As described, this stabilizer improves the handling by a GOOD margin! Side-wind effects were dramatically reduced. Moreover, I really like how the wheel recovers its positions after turning -- if you drive on many mountain roads you know how important it is! Great Product!

Giving the nod to all those RVers that feel like if you need something like this, you're not worthy of being on the road, I'd like to say this is a great product. We bought a 2016 Thor Freedom Elite, basic, basic model, and we're VERY happy with it. We moved up from the smallest R-Pod made, a 171, because towing that with a Tacoma was a literal pain in the butt. Immediately after buying the Thor we took it on a 4,000 mile road trip and the differences between the Pod and the Freedom Elite was fantastic. Not the reason for the review. Driving up through Nebraska and South Dakota on small back roads in high velocity crosswinds the Elite steering wheel would occasionally try to spin out of my hands. There were the usual issues with passing semis and irregular roads as well.Because my bride also drives, we began researching steering stabilizers and settled on the Roadmaster RSSC. I read a lot of reviews and watched a few Youtube videos before deciding on the Roadmaster. The difference in reviews of the other steering stabilizers didn't seem to warrant the increased cost of the higher-end units. A lot of the videos talked about taking several tries to get the unit correctly centered on the steering apparatus, but out of sheer dumb luck (and a little research, and closely reading instructions) we got the installation correct the first time. This morning we took the Freedom Elite on the highway a few miles down I-40 to the Ford dealership for a front-end alignment. Before and after the alignment the rig performed much better than it had on our 4,000 mile trip. A couple of semis blew by - no movement at all. Thunderstorm winds blowing through the NC mountain passes were no problem either.Impressed, I guess, is the word. We have another trip planned later this summer. If these results change, I'll update this review. In the meantime, highly recommended, and I paid full price for this Stabilizer and received no discount for this review.
