Your cart is empty.The direct-connect style baseplate allows you to connect your tow bar directly to the baseplate, eliminating the need for a crossbar. This is our easiest system to connect and disconnect. If you are using a motorhome-mounted tow bar, this is the baseplate you should choose. Fits 2010-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK models. Willy OK. No aftermarket bumpers, winches, guards, Call of Duty, BackCountry, Winter Edition, Recon, 10th and 75th Anniversary models. Will work with plastic skidplates. Trimming of spoiler, air dam, bumper, grill or plastic fascia may be required on some models of this vehicle.

This tow platen was easy to install and it fits great. The removable tow bar adapters are a nice feature.

The base plate was not packaged well. It caused multiple damage/scratches to the powder coating. I repaired with auto grade spray paint and sanding. I should of stopped my relationship with roadmaster after this but i went ahead and purchased their tow bar. Came damaged similar to the base plate and missing vital hardware. I won't make the same mistake with buying their supplemental brake system. I will seek another company and hopefully have better luck. I really hope your experience is better than mine.

Made well and is vehicle specific so it bolts right on. Will be towing the Jeep behind our motorhome.

I easily attached this to my 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK in order to tow behind my RV. Took a few hours and a few YouTube videos to boost my confidence but it was fairly straightforward. Great, heavy-duty unit. All the parts I needed were included but wish I would have had a few extra push anchors for my heat shield. Thankfully, I didn’t break any. I didn’t have extra hands handy when I put the bumper on, so just used a 5 gal bucket to prop up the other end. Worked great. Don’t forget to pick up some Loctight Red for the bolts.

Installed on our 16 Wrangler, took a couple of hours. Every part fit and the instructions were easy to follow and well written with great photos.

Seems well made and I like that fact that it is made in the USA. Installation was straightforward and pretty easy. Will be hooking up the Jeep to our motorhome and traveling very soon so may have more to say at a later date following actual usage.
