Feels like it’s made very cheap materials when I start to wave the wand the battery disconnected. It shuts off and I have to keep turning it back on physically. The light does not stay on when you’re waving it around. It’s more of a hassle. I’d rather just use my hand for traffic.

I got this to replace an old red one at work that fell off a table and broke. This one is quite a bit longer than the old one, but since I use it to guide 18 wheelers into and out of a loading bay this is a definite plus as far as I'm concerned. The construction is decent considering the price (though yes, it does still feel a bit like cheap plastic), and it even has a belt clip and a wrist loop (though the morning guy at work hated the wrist loop and ripped it off after a couple of days). This baton is very bright at night/in the dark. I even used it during a power outage at the plant like a makeshift flashlight. I can definitely recommend this. 4.5/5. BTW, you will need C batteries since this doesn't come with any.

We put these in our truck in case of emergency. Looks to be a good quality and very bright. The type of things that you hope you never need but are good to have on hand. Highly recommend!

I ordered this RoadHero 1 Pack 21 Inch Traffic Wands, Green Led Traffic Control Baton, Night Safety Light Wand for our car, in case of a breakdown or accident after dark. My thought was that this would be good for directing traffic, or just helping other drivers see a broken down car and navigate around it safely. And this is ideal for those purposes. However, when it arrived, our teenage son also pointed out that it would make a cool lightsaber, in a pinch. So there’s that, too. This lightweight glowing baton measures about 21” long, and requires two C batteries (not included.) The green, glowing part of the wand is about 13 1/2” long, so it’s large enough to be seen easily. There are two modes of light, steady and flashing.I like the wrist loop; if I were out in the dark using this in an emergency, I wouldn’t want to drop it. The loop slides over the wrist, so if you drop it, it’s still connected to you, very convenient. While this is quite lightweight, it still feels sturdy. This is a great traffic baton to store in the car for emergencies; it could also be useful as a sort of spare flashlight when camping, or in a power blackout. My son also said that it’s a great lightsaber stand in; we do a lot of costumes in our family, and he’s pretty good at repurposing common items into costume pieces. It certainly has the glow.At the current price (8.99) this seems like a very fair price for this product; I’ve seen similar ones for two or three times as much.

This traffic wand has a flashing mode and a solid mode. The color is just blue. It takes 2 C batteries (not included). The wand is lightweight plastic and inexpensively made, but it will do the job as long as it is protected when not in use. It doesn't look like it will take much abuse. I wouldn't toss it in the back of your car or trunk as it might break. Also, the plastic may not be very durable in cold temperatures. The wand has a belt hook and a wrist strap so that you don't have to worry about it slipping during use.

This traffic wand was much lighter than expected. I guess because it looked like a metal handle but it's a light plastic. The description lists that as a positive but I think if this is used in commercial or industrial settings I'd want it to take some rough handling. The brightness is pretty good. It lights up the whole length, and there's enough light coming out of the tip to use as a flashlight. It's a bright green, despite what one of the pictures says.Half the logo was rubbed off of the one I got, so there may be some inconsistencies in manufacturing.I still think it's not a bad value, though.
