This is a really good fun activity for summer that is creative, has a touch of newness to it (shells vs rocks), and can keep your kid busy. It is a complete set that is ready to go. If you are doing this for a party, you may want to find a few more brushes and maybe a bit more paint, so there's less competition for what is in the pack but it is generally sufficient for all the shells included in the set. Kids from 5 to 20 enjoyed this at our party, so definitely a crowd pleaser.

Bought this craft kit for my 5 year old and it was a huge hit!!! It is super creative and fun. You get to paint and mold clay…a kids dream come true! Even my older kids loved it. This kit comes with everything- clay, paint, glitter glue, glue, shells, googly eyes, pipe cleaners. Easy to use, all ages.

The clay is fun and makes it a family activity. Pics coming soon after it's dry. My 6yr old and 4 yr old had so much fun, very easy craft.

Everything included to create the suggested crafts inside the step by step guide. No reading necessary to look at the photos and do what each step suggests to get the desired result. Really good for child's mind to problem solve and follow instruction steps like this. Also good to just have fun and make up your own creative ideas, too. Shells, glue, paint, one red pipe cleaner (for the red crab legs 🦀), glitter, googly eyes, a lot of air dry foam clay. Very cool project box. If I were to add anything, I would give more paints and more pipe cleaners and maybe string to hang them, but then you need really good glue or tape to make the string stick, or maybe the company could drill a hole in some of the white shells. At any rate, I think this is awesome as is and I personally would have loved this from age 8 to 12, but I think it's geared for younger kids. I ended up a college art major and art teacher so I was into things like this at an older age when most kids would have outgrown it. (Shh...I'd still even enjoy doing this at 40 years old lol! Relaxing.)
