Easy to install and unlike the original Toyota part, it is made of metal and will not break. Very functional and cheaper than the Toyota replacement part.

This product is better than the original. Metal verses plastic. Comes with the correct mini Phillips screw driver and 2 properly sized screws. Installation was 1 minute. The locking mechanism works perfectly and I doubt will fail before the 4Runner does. I highly recommend this replacement lack for the center console of the 4Runner.

In my 2002 sequoia the screws that came with the new part are too short. Reuse the original screws. I also had to shave off two alignment tabs for new part to fit flush. Other than that it fits well (now) and functions properly.

I ordered the metal one to replace the original that broke in my Avalon, good part, fits well, should last for the rest of the life of the car since it’s metal. The spring is nice and strong so shouldn’t pop open or anything. Comes with new hardware but the new screws were smaller diameter than the original ones so I just used the original ones and it worked great. Install couldn’t be easier

I have a 2003 toyota 4runner, this was exactly what I need. Fits perfectly, works perfectly. Reasonable price for a quality piece. It's metal, not plastic. It's incredibly easy to install.

The construction is metal and exactly what you need. It leaves a solid feel to the console and functions as intended. I have no idea why the toyota one is made plastic.The only gripe as many mentioned the screws it comes with are shorter I just reused the OEM screws and worked perfect.

Great product. Much higher quality than the factory plastic latch. Install took less than 3 minutes and fitment is tight. Zero play in the console lid when closed. Excellent replacement for factory latch.

The dealership wanted close to $100 for this part and two screws. I ordered this and did it myself. The original part was plastic and broke in two places. This is metal and fits PERFECT. I could not be happier. I will save the box and buy from this outlet again.

Truly impressed with the quality of the latch. The metal latch is far better than the original plastic one. The screwdriver that is included is a great bonus as well. Great value for my budget.
