These jacks were easy to install, very solid using the supplied self tapping screws - just need to drill a small pilot hole in my Pedaltrain pedalboard frame. Once they lock in your TS or TRS cable, you'll have a hard time pressing the lock to release the plug. In fact, it will feel like you're about to break the plastic locking mechanism. But it does release. You could get your fingers injured if you're not careful. Works as described, however. Have purchased these twice. The third time, the mounting assembly was much larger and it would not fit my pedalboard and so I returned and looked for the smaller mount again.

If you’re trying to build a noiseless pedal board do not buy. They add a significant amount of noise to your signal

Installed easily with self-tapping sheet metal screws that are included. Perfect fit on my Ghost Fire 2.0 PT-style pedalboard.
