WARM TIPS:
- The tool is capable of over setting small rivnut as M3,M4,6-32 and10-24 etc. When setting small rivnut, please apply less power on the handles and the arms of the tool do not need to come very close to each other, or the small mandrel can be damaged.
- The mandrels are consumable. Frequent or improper use would consume the useful life of them, and even damage them. The mandrels and replacements which are universal can be easily found in Amazon.
- Please be noted that the M8 mandrel are already installed on the tool, so the small box of M8 is empty.

I used this riveting tool to fasten my RV slide-out room floor to the slide side wall. The manufacture of my travel trailer made the connection with large sheet metal screws. The base material is aluminum tubing, so the screws worked loose and fell out. I have now riveted the slide room together, which I am confident is a better solution than machine screws. After easily installing the threaded rivets into the tubing, I installed SS bolts with washers and lock-tite. This tool worked great for this project.

We needed to attach a bracket to a hollow aluminum beam. Rivet nuts were great and our best option. The Kit is great and easy to use. It made my installation perfect. Very Happy.

GIANTISAN 16-Inch Rivet Nut Tool I purchased this Rivnut tool to replace my previous 15 year plus model from another manufacture that is a completely different style. I do maybe one project a month where I need rivnuts and this Giantisan tool is just right. Yesterday I installed a series of steel 1/2 inch rivnuts, the tool worked great. Only improvement I can think of is 18 inch handles for better installing pressure, but that would mean a need to beef up the materials the tool is made out of so higher cost I am sure. Speaking of cost, this 16 inch tool is about 40 bucks more than others of the same type I looked at, the Giantisan has good reviews, so went for it, so far meeting expectations. For the average home DIY guy or gal doing maint and hobbies this tool should do the job and last many years. For a commercial shop requiring rivnut installs every day, probably not. Air tools would be the norm, but the Giantisan ( play on words I am sure ) would be a great back up

Great tool! - Wide range of mandrel sizes with plenty of rivet nuts for each size - The perfect kit for any handyman or DIYer!! - Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and get this kit with 15 SAE and Metric mandrels. You never know what size you'll need for your project - with this kit your covered. As far as the kit itself - it comes with a sturdy case that is very organized inside compared to others - someone put some thought into this one. The tool is very well made and I honestly can't see ever having a problem with it. The smaller mandrels could break if not careful - There is a easy to follow formula in the instructions to reduce or eliminate any damage to the mandrels using the compression gauge on the tool. All in all one of the best tools I've purchased in a long time!!! Definitely a winner, get one for yourself, for your husband or whoever is a DIYer - they will be just as happy and excited as I've have been!!
