The instructions were only nomenclature. Excuse me if I've never used a rivet nut tool before. Rivet nut tool 101 wasn't one of my courses. That being said, when I tried a trial riveting the flange snapped off and flew across the room . Good thing I was wearing safety glasses

I'll admit I haven't done any rivnutting previously, however, I use tools extensively every day and would consider myself near expert level. For an entry level kit, you would think there would be a little more information included, such as what size drill bits to use for the included rivnuts, as well as their expected grip range (the range of material thickness that they can successfully be used in). They might even consider including a few bits perhaps so you'd at least know the sizes. The "instructions" included are a joke - completely worthless. Maybe there is a standard for rivnut sizes, but even if there is you can never be sure that the included nuts are made to that standard. Anyways, in my limited use the tool did work fine, although it's again unclear how far or how much pressure you should apply to any given nut as there is zero information.

I bought this because I needed to install two rivnuts on the down tube of my bicycle to secure a mounting bracket for my battery. I struggled with trying to do it with a homemade rig of a washer, nut, and machine screw and I just couldn't get it to work. I squeezed the trigger on this one time and it installed the rivnut with ease. Amazon had this kit on sale for the price that two bike shops wanted to charge me when I already had the holes drilled and the rivets. I'm sure I'll find other used for it in the future. It is very well made.

The one-handed operation makes it more convenient, especially when you’re working in tight spots. The rivet nut is compressed evenly. It isn't too hard to switch between the sizes. It feels robust and well-constructed. Comes with a decent amount of rivet nuts to get you started and a wrench to swap out arbors.

This is not difficult to use. It works as well as others that I have had in the past. It feels like it should hold up for a decent amount of time.

This is a very good starter rivet set. It comes with many of the common rivet nut sizes. It also comes with rivet nuts included. Best of all, everything comes packed in a convenient carrying case.The tool itself seems to be very well made and durable. I tried setting a few rivet nuts with ease. No issues on usage. The case appears to be just as durable.The only thing I think I could ask for are compartments for the rivet nuts. They came in baggies inside the case, which is fine for delivery. But once you open up the baggies, they are loose inside the case. Covered compartments would have been perfect. Instead, I put all the rivet nuts in a plastic box and stow them along with the tool.

This rivet nut tool is a great tool for anyone who needs to install rivet nuts. It's easy to use, even for beginners, and it comes with everything you need to get started. If you have ever installed rivet nuts you know they can be difficult or even fail without proper tools. This kit comes complete with a quality rivet gun, mandrel and nuts for the most common sized rivets, a selection of various rivets, and a hard sided storage case that keeps all the fittings secured into their individual locations. The case is blow molded hard plastic and should last a long time if taken care of. The rivet gun is well built and works flawlessly. The only down side I can see for some users is that the rivet gun does require larger hands with physical strength.Overall my experience has been good. I am happy with the performance of the tools as this kit saves me time and effort. And at the purchase price, I am even happier.
