Took about two hours by myself (64 yrs old woman). Best tip I saw here was to tilt each section on its side to connect it to the last. Hardest part of instructions was figuring out which side of each piece I needed to use because the pictures are not clear enough. I read through two steps at a time to know where I was headed, which helped get the correct side. Holds more books than I thought. Very pleased and look forward to grandchildren enjoying more books.

We put this in our granddaughter’s room. It was easy to assemble. The scale is smaller than the photos, but it works well. I love how it secured to the wall to prevent accidents.

I spent a lot of time looking into different book shelves and ultimately decided to go for this one. While I love how it looks not that it’s built and how many books it holds, putting this thing together took forever and was an absolute nightmare. Whatever paint they used is not very great quality as it marks up if you even look at it the wrong way and pain chips off really easily, but the time I got it out together it looked like someone had taken a pencil and scribbled all over it. The next issue was the instructions, they are not great and confusing to try to figure out. Lastly following the instructions didn’t result in a straight forward assembly as the parts either weren’t labeled at all or they were labeled incorrectly. I fought so hard to put this thing together and I was pretty angry when I had to take half of it apart because things weren’t lining up no matter what I did. Thankfully things went a bit smoother after I figured out what was wrong but it took me way too many hours and too much frustration to get this darn thing put together. There was a point I was so frustrated that I almost took it apart and returned it. If my toddler didn’t love this shelf as much as he does and it didn’t look so nice now that it’s together I would have given zero stars. If you aren’t a fan of puzzles I wouldn’t recommend this item. I also think it is overpriced for the quality, I’ve built way cheaper stuff that had a nicer and more durable finish than this bookshelf.

I absolutely LOVE this bookcase. My daughter is 10 months and already has her own library. I bought a bookshelf before this one that said it could hold around 50 books... it didn't even hold half of her books. I returned it and bought this one and it fits all her books perfectly. It even has plenty of room to add more book! Highly recommend this bookcase. It's sturdy, too. It comes with pieces so it can be anchored to the wall for extra safety if you wish.

Overall I’m happy with this item - the final results. Assembling was difficult in the last few steps. As I was piecing it together, a side snapped off and broke. I worked with customer service to get replacement pieces. It was a headache, but they were very helpful and quick to send new pieces.

Very cute & a great height for kids. Pretty easy to put together but it came damaged. The box came looking like it was thrown around the truck so of course the inside white pieces were scuffed & chipped in several places. The books cover most of the damage but for over $200, I’m unimpressed.

The assembly was a little overwhelming when I first started, but once I got into the rhythm it wasn't too bad.I do recommend completing the bottom part first before assembling the top shelves. If you follow the instructions order, you'll need to prop up the shelves against something while working on the bottom part. It made me a little nervous and seemed unnecessary when the order of the steps could simply have been rearranged a little.When you're putting on the side panels, I do recommend having a second set of hands to help get everything balanced and aligned.The finished result is good and seems durable enough.

Nice looking bookcase! Particle board, but has a quality look and feel to it. It took me 2 hrs and 15 mins to unpack and assemble. Instructions are very clear, no damaged pieces, all pre-drilled holes were aligned. Definitely a few tricky steps that required some patience, but managed to assemble this entirely on my own at 8 months pregnant, so really not that bad. Most importantly it’s the perfect size, height, and design for my 3 year old! ☺️
