Very sturdy and easy to use. If I get one again I will get it a little bigger. I’m 5’9” and this barely fit my length.

This is a high quality tube. We use them for tubing down a river with easy rapids, but quite a number of boulders. It is durable, fairly priced and roomy to a big guy like me. The straps make it easy to connect tubes for the whole family. The handles make it easy to load and are helpful for hanging in rapid water.

Best tube for rough water. Every year I tube the snowmelt in Colorado. Good handles, strong outside cover and nice leash. If you tube whitewater or rapids this is the most stable and well put together tube. Will also work just fine in the Lazy-river as well.

Included everything I needed for tubing down the river. The cover is durable for those hidden rocks and the handles were great for the rapids.

I was skeptical when I first bought this. But wow you get what you pay for I love this for floating down river or sitting on lake with cooler full of beer. I have friends who bought the cheaper intex ones and yea they work for the first few trips but it's a night mare when you are3 hours in and your buddy cheap tube got a puncture and now everyone sitting on the side of the river with duck tape and patch kits trying to fix it. Going to let my nephew use it this year for snowtubeing will update

As far as a product review goes, this one exceeded my expectations. We have had property on a small Ozark river for a number of years and have enjoyed being on the water in a variety ways. Early on, we had some truck tubes. They were good for relaxing in the water. But, the 'sunny side' of the tube could heat up pretty quickly. They were 'real' tire tubes and the valve stem was extended so it could reach through the steel wheel. Yes, that valve stem could poke you pretty good if you forgot where it was. This River Tube addresses both of those issues. The valve stem is just about as short as it can get and the valve cover insures no unpleasant surprises when flopping around on the tube. The cover is well made and doesn't heat up like the uncovered rubber did. It offers substantial handles all around the outside edge, plenty of points to attach the leash; or a rope; or a minnow bucket. The cover also provides a self-draining floor for the tube. The bad news is that doesn't allow for hanging through the tube, a floating position better suited for deeper water. The good news is that extra layer of neoprene provides more cushioning when floating over rocks. Our river has lots of rocks, slippery ones and sharp ones :-) I also find the floor handy when wading and fishing. It provides a good spot for dry bait, tackle boxes or a small cooler. So, this River Tube is a keeper.

Update: I contacted Raftoob. They said to fill the tube with air until the cover is snug. The tube is thick rubber, which made it seem like it was full when I first tried it. So I tried it a second time on the river and it worked so much better! It's a good tube and holds up well. I recommend! The tube is way too small for the cover, causing the cover to fill with water. You sit really low, which makes you sit completely in the water and causes your butt to hit rocks or the bottom of a shallow river. Expect to get really wet and go very slow in the water as your friends pass you by on the river. On a positive note, the cover is well-made and seems durable. With the right sized tube, it would be a great product. But for $150, it's not worth it!

We purchased these for a raft trip down two rocky rivers. Many boulders and edges to look out for. They held up just fine for the 5 days of use. One carabiner broke of all 8. No big deal- Spring came loose internally. Plenty of grab points and places to tie onto. Seems like they will last for a while.
