As cylinder head temperatures increase, so does the likelihood of detonation and power loss unless ignition timing is retarded. Under extreme conditions, this can also result in overheating and engine damage. Hy-Per Lube Super Coolant reduces the surface tension of coolant, allowing it to more deeply penetrate metal surfaces at critical heat transfer areas inside the engine and radiator. This results in more heat being transferred away from cylinder heads and a reduction in engine operating temperatures.

When I flushed my coolant system. I had replaced the coolant with two bottles and the rest with distilled water. My engines temps in my 6.5 Diesel stay right at 180. Freaking perfect. I live in PHX, AZ so I never have to worry about it freezing. But our hot summers at 120 degrees leave me worried free knowing I have the best coolant in my truck.

I use this in my '67 SS Nova. I have had chronic overheating at idle in summer. After every trick in the book it's much better. I tried this and it made a solid difference of 5 degrees. I'll take it! 5 degrees doesn't sound like a lot, but it's the difference between an overheat and not. Got me down to a manageable idle temp. Best $ I've spent in a while.

Iam useing it to keep my gxc4 pcp compressor instead of distilled water. Better protection against rust and keeps it cool

I've seen testing (not professionally) and other videos validating this. Although it's not entirely clear, it does seem to have some effect. Realize that this stuff is to be added annually so it's not everlasting. I will continue using this stuff because I do have high performing vehicles and just knowing it could help is good enough for me.

I am wondering why was the name Super coolant, and effectively it's because it's cooler than the other ones, this is for NASCAR cars. I didn't know my Saab 2008 Sportcombi 9-3 2.0 L will need this.

I was pretty excited to try this product but only saw a 5 degree drop in temperature at most. I expected a lot more.
