The binding holder is made from high-quality acrylic and features the classic churn dash quilt block. It has a small hole so that it can easily hang in your sewing room. Size is approximately 6 1/2" x 6 1/2".

This makes it so much easier to store and sew with binding. I was able to make my binding ahead of time and store it in the closet until ready to sew it on. It made the actual finishing of the quilt go faster. I also used the device as I sewed, letting the binding unroll gradually as I worked. This is wide enough to store 2.5" binding before you fold/iron it as well, if you don't have time to fold/iron it right away. It is not big enough for 3" binding before folding, but big enough to store folded 3" binding.

This tool is an excellent way to keep long strips of binding under control as you sew it onto the quilt.
