It can plug into your hose and act as an extension, letting you fit into hard-to-reach areas. This replacement hose has a couple of inches of reinforced tubing just after the part that gets inserted into the vacuum. The original hose did not which led to kinking. Once kinked, it always kinked at that spot, slowing down flow and eventually splitting. The new hose gently bends at this spot when you tug the vacuum by the hose.

The original that came with the vacuum cleaner got kinked. I didn't want to buy a new vacuum just to get a replacement hose. This replacement fits like the original and is reinforced in key areas.

Too rigid and kinks like a cheap hose. But, I’ll use it since I bought it already. I guess you get what you pay for.

I got this to have as an extra in case my other one breaks but I gotta admit it’s not as sturdy as it looks, it’s not bad either though! Just wish these products were made to not break to easily, I haven’t used it yet like I said but the build quality is okay.
