The the company that makes the best tambourines,yeaaaaa! I have tambourines that are almost 30 yrs old and still awesome. It was a bit bigger than I wanted but It traveled to the Bahamas well and rocked. I was thrilled with the sounds. Great travel Cajon!!..I took it to a drummers conference abd so many people were like, im getting that when I get home. I love being the person with the really cool item. Love it!! Good price too it's solid.

Fun to play it in the car! Purchased primarily for the beach as it works well for drum circle. Decent sound range and volume. Nicely finished lightweight portable design. Sounds is quite good!

Snare effect very good for a marching band type snare drum sound, but perhaps not quite convincing or flexible as a skin-covered conventional snare drum with drumsticks. I don't regret the purchase at the discounted price I paid. Still fun and light weight and portable to use. I was hoping for more of the tone of a skin-covered conventional snare drum in snare mode. Does ok as a regular cajon but is much lighter than my wooden bongo cajon and easier tp play standing up or walking. Seated, the strap can go around your lower back/waist to keep the drum from sliding off your lap. I like that because I normally play from a stool. Decent build quality, unlike some Meinl products I've owned. If you want to play drums for your ukulele band version of Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk", this will work.

I like the design of this type of Cajon. Just place it on your lap and bang away. There are two choices, with or without snare sound. I like both depending on my mood. It has a strap so agile percussionists can sling the strap around their neck and rhythm away. I can see a group of four or five each wearing the Cajon and playing rhythms as a group. Great portable rhythm maker. I want to take it to a drum circle. I like it very much.
