The RhymBlock is designed to project a pleasingly powerful natural woodblock tone that will not get lost in the sound mix. The RhymBlock is engineered for durability with Patented side slit reinforcement plates and comes with an optionally installed Edge Guard to protect the striking edge from wear and tear. The RhymBlock is shaped to mount onto the rim of a drum with the RhymClips, which quickly mount the RhymBlock on and off the drum in any un-obstructed position around the rim with height adjustment at or above the rim while maintaining equal height above the rim the full width of the block. Ideal for rimshots, cross sticking, ghost noting, singular or interplay with the drum. The maple hardwood RhymBlock is available in a 6” high and 7” low tone. Maple is the industry standard hardwood for a durable and warm tone woodblock. The RhymClips are constructed from durable and light weight reinforced nylon to help protect your drums from damage often caused from metal mounting systems. The RhymClips are engineered as a universal mounting system with interchangeable boots to adapt to a wide variety of snare, tom, and timbale rims including triple flange and cast hoops, or hand drum rims including traditional, comfort curve, and rope tuned hoops. Great device it mounts very easily and it’s sounds more natural than any other materials I’ve tried. I would give five stars except for the metal rim that is supposed to be glued, I use this for a Tom mount in my drum kit and hit it with my drumsticks, the glue is not enough to keep it there even with mallets or others. But even without that it’s holding up and sounding great

I like the sound but it’s difficult to have the block secured to my drum.
