It took 1 restart to get this set up correctly. The key is to make sure you have enough sand in the bags. It is also safer to dig the bags into the ground a bit (tripping hazard). Once the weight of the sand bags is strong enough it is easy to put the poles in the corners and have enough tension. I would say this would be water resistant but not waterproof.

We purchased this for a family beach trip and we were very happy with the product.Pros:-Very lightweight and compact for the size of shade provided-Setup was easy. With three adults helping it took about 5 minutes but I am confident that one person could have it ready to go in less than 15 minutes.-Plenty of shade! We had 4 adults, two toddlers, and an infant. We had plenty of room in the shade for adults to relax and left a corner of the shade clear for the toddlers to play in the sand. (This was with the 10x10 model)-Held up great in the wind! We had a steady breeze all day with some larger gusts. We even saw one of the traditional metal frame pop-up tents get blown down the beach with the larger gusts but our Rhino Valley Beach Tent held up great.Cons:-Might be too large for a crowded beach. This was not an issue for us, but if you deal with crowded beaches with limited space, the required footprint to secure the tent may be difficult.Summary:The Rhino Valley 10x10 Beach tent was perfect for our need and worked wonderfully. The provided shade kept us cool and the compact size saved my back from hauling it to the beach. It was sturdy in the wind and held up great. I would absolutely recommend this to someone needing shade for a larger area. A good tip for set up is to spread the corners to stretch the fabric pretty tight and fill the sand bags as full as you can. We used this method and had no issues even on the first set up.

Easy to use once we realized that the most important step is to TOTALLY fill the sand pockets before putting up poles, or else the poles will fall. Once we realized that, it was a snap to put up & stayed up all day. So lightweight & easy to use.

Prodotto bello, versatile e ben costruito. I materiali sono robusti e duraturi. Facile il montaggio e anche il trasporto grazie alla pratica borsetta. Le sacche di ancoraggio sono capienti e si possono riempire con circa 5-6 kili di sabbia permettendo di avere una copertura stabile anche in giornate mediamente ventose. In dotazione vengono fornite anche delle palette per la sabbia e diversi tipi di picchetti per superfici differenti. Il tessuto di copertura è elastico e restsiente al vento; Nb a mio avviso filtra circa il 90-95 per cento della luce solare.La versione 3x3 permette di riparare dal sole comodamente tutta la giornata 3-4 persone.Si tenga conto che una volta montato crea un ingombro di circa 5,5x5,5 metri.

Easy setup and take down, provides good amount of shade. Sturdy and holds up with typical beach wind. Stores into a small bag that is easy to transport vs a heavy canopy. Great value and recommend buying for a beach trip.

Easy to use, but beware if using on the beach that it doesn't stand up very well in wind. Maybe with different placement of the poles or getting them deeper, but there was a lot of flapping of the tent and the bags would get pulled. I feel this may have been some user error but I think a heavier weighted pole would have been better. For the price though it was what we needed for some shade at the beach without having to carry a traditional tent. It was super light weight and packed up super small (like little duffle bag) with everything you needed, including shovels!!! So yes, if it's not too windy this is probably a great tent, just wish the poles were a bit heavier. It was easy to set up and take down.

Bought with the intention of using at the beach of course, but seeing as our beach vacay is still a week away, I put it through some trial runs at my daughter's softball tournament over the weekend. LOVE that it is lightweight and easy to pack away/carry, in comparison to the ubiquitous "camp shelter tent" that has metal poles/frames and are quite heavy. I would say that setup takes two people about 5-7 minutes, and takedown is even easier. The real key is to get good tight tension between opposing corners, and to not set the same-corner "tentacles" too close together. While this hasn't been up against a strong beach wind yet, it was blowing about 15-25mph consistently at the softball fields yesterday, and it stood up just fine (even using the thin metal stakes). I'm optimistic that the bags filled with sand will be even better.

First and foremost, setting up this tent was an absolute breeze. The pop-up design makes it incredibly easy to assemble, and I had it up and ready for use within minutes of arriving at the beach. I’ve always been hesitant to purchase one of these, mostly because of the price and fear of set up. But this tent is AMAZING! Price is great, it’s lightweight, sturdy, provides so much shade and can be put up and taken down super easily. Myself and my 6 year old took it down ourselves in just a few minutes. Don’t spend extra money on others and get this!

Die Dinger sind leider viel zu eng für die 4, 7 und 9 Jahre alten Kinder. Auch ist der Stoff , so dicht, dass sie nur schlecht Luft bekommen. Haben sie wieder zurück geschickt. Schade.
