How to Use Your Rhino Cart

Put the weight on the skates

Put the wight on the skates, not the poles

Always put the weight on the Rhino Cart skate surface. Never load the item directly on the poles. If you are moving bagged material (concrete or sand) or small but heavy items like bricks or pavers, cut a piece of scrap plywood or dimensional lumber to create a bridge between the skates.

Slide skate and poled to fit the item you are moving

Extend poles to put the skates under the item

Rhino Cart can adjust from 9”-46” to accommodate the items you want to move. To make Rhino Cart small, push the ends of the telescoping poles together. Then, slide the free skate up the poles to the desired width. To extend Rhino Cart, pull skates and telescoping poles to desired length.

  • Yes. Everything you see in the videos is real. The Rhino Cart and a single person performed all the movements you see in our marketing videos. There are no tricks - everyone in the video is a normal person without super powers.

  • Rhino Cart doesn't NEED poles. If you need to move something through a narrow doorway, you can remove the poles and just place the Rhino Cart skates under the object you are looking to move. We have video of this on our tips and tricks section.

  • Rhino Cart is designed to have the weight go on the skate. The poles are not intended to carry the weight. When a user doesn't read the instructions and ignores the warning stickers, bent poles are the result :(

  • Yes. Rhino Cart is designed to be flexible. With the poles attached, Rhino Cart can move an item from 6-46". If you are moving a narrow item or a very wide item, you can remove the poles and just use the Rhino Cart skates to move the item.

  • Yes. Rhino Cart is rated to carry 2,000lbs. Most gun safes weigh less than 1,000lbs. We use an 800lbs gun safe for demos at trade shows. Use the tie down eyelets and have an extra set of hands before moving heavy items.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Such an awesome product design that is light and easy to use out of the box! This season we have had a few freezes where our potted patio citrus would have certainly died had they not been brought in from the cold. The first 2 times it took two of us struggling significantly to get our largest pots over - even with dedicated pot “skates” rated to 1000 lbs. 2 skates broke after 2 uses. In comes our most recent freeze. I was now on my own to figure out how to move them. ANSWER - RHINO CART! I’m 5’6 with an average frame and I was able to move the two largest pots (3.5 feet tall by 3.5 diameter) onto the cart. I used two square pieces of plywood to fit between the two lipped rollers and pivoted the plants on. I was able to navigate them over bumpy patio pebble concrete, inclines, 3 different 6 inch “bumps” and up a lipped garage door threshold with absolute ease.RHINO CART - you saved our citrus!

The video describes having twist locks on the extension poles. There are none. When you try to pull the skates apart, the poles come with it and will just pull apart. It does work well on slightly rough surfaces but not having the locking poles is a big downfall.

When it showed up I was less than enthusiastic about the plastic it was made out of and had visions of the 800lb safe I was about to drop on it crushing the life out of it. But here I was trying to move the safe by myself and it's all I had...........It worked great! I was able to move the safe over uneven concrete and spin it 180* to get it in the right place in my garage. It's so low even a top heavy, narrow base load like the safe was relatively stable. And low enough that all I had to do to unload it was tip the safe a little and pull the little cart out. Highly recommended!

Used this to move my 600 lbs laser cutter. I liked that I was able adjust it to exact size and strap it to unit then tip it right over onto wheels vs trying to tip the unit onto a standard dolly that would tend to move around while loading it. Was easy to steer and went over door threshold fairly easy. Wish the expandable rods would lock into place and I feel it's a little pricey. Also, as others have said - this does ok going over bumps and obstacles but I don't see it doing well on rougher surfaces - not truly all-terrain.

It's pretty solid but I see what some others have mentioned about it falling apart. If you push the rods together too far they push out the plastic caps holding them on.As you can see in my photo its a few inches too wide to get through standard home door frames. It would fit if I took the door off the hinges though. They should have shortened it by a few inches as this would be a fantastic tool in my belt for moving furniture around. As it is though, the poles just stick out too much to make this useful in the home

Not only have I moved a lot, I've also moved all my own stuff each time. I even own my own moving van, so the need to move and have dollies is way old hat for me. After recently remodeling my kitchen and installing porcelain tiles over a wooden subfloor, I was concerned about my usual dollies and the potential damage to the floor moving a huge and very heavy refrigerator across the newly tiled floor and into its space.I discovered this tool by pure chance, and boy, oh boy, am I glad I did!Delicate floors? No problem!Tight spaces? No problem at all!Very heavy weight? No issues at all!Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is the best moving tool I've ever owned for close quarters, very heavy items, and not having a crew to move things. We've since moved heavy ovens, ranges, refrigerators and various unruly boxes. In each case, the ease of operation and move is remarkable.I recommend this tool without any reservations whatsoever.
