I love the lights and product itself they look beautiful above my bedroom pictures. BUT as me and my partner slept the magnet failed and missed our head by inches ! Not sure if I will be reattaching the lights I don’t want them to fall again on our heads . The magnet should be stronger for the weight of the lights .

I picked these up to light up some artwork that I have in my dining room, and this did the job! Works great with the remote and is really easy to install. No complaints or issues thus far.

Overall, these are very convenient and versatile LED display lights. As is the case with most products like this, the remote control is thin and feels a bit flimsy. However, the lights have worked well over the last three weeks for me.I would strongly recommend using the screws to install these lights as it makes them much more stable when you remove the magnetic light from the wall mount. I initially used the strips to attach them to the wall, but they were not sturdy enough for frequent removal of the lights.I very much like the extremely high number of varying color options, as well as the level of lighting from 25 to 50 to 75 to 100%. I used two of these lights in my son‘s room for his hot wheel displays, and I used one in my den to highlight a piece of art over the couch. Both of these applications work well and look nice.I do feel like the size of the lights themselves are a bit too small, but are still serviceable. This of course is my “fault” in the end because the measurements are clearly marked in the posting. However, the photos in the posting look much larger in comparison to furniture and other objects than they do in real life.For what these lights are, the versatility, the features, simplicity of installation, and the price point, make these a good value in my opinion. However, expectations are important as these are obviously not museum quality light displays. So just make sure that your expectations are in line with the product.

As I see it, these lights have 3 jobs: (1) Be reliably magnetic (per the description), (2) turn on and off with the types of colors and intensities described and (3) work with the remote. They failed at #1.Picture this: You've installed these lights in a home office and marveled at how well they work. They look as pictured and were easy to install (the entire process, from unboxing to prep to hanging, took maybe 10 minutes). You've seen thicker adhesive than what was provided for the light-holders but after a little effort in getting the white backing off (thanks, fingernails), it seems this will indeed stick. The remote doesn't seem to cycle through a bunch of colors (just a handful), but that's not a deal-breaker because you don't care for RGB and will only use the warm light anyway. All this, for less than $17, too. Great buy, you think, and after about an hour and a half of enjoying your nice new lights, you cut 'em off and leave the room. Fast forward to about half-past midnight. The house is dead quiet. You and your spouse hear a noise; it came from inside, nearby. Is someone trying to break in? What's going on? After you've equipped yourselves and he's investigated, you learn it was those "oh so nice" supposedly magnetic spotlights that dropped to the wood floor. Only one lasted in place; the rest failed at their most basic role -- staying put on the holder -- after about 6.5 hours. I will try them to re-attach them using rare earth magnets but for brand-new lights in my home less than a day, I shouldn't have to do that.So irritating and upsetting I felt compelled to write the review immediately. Pass on these. You can definitely do better (I have before; those lights are hanging in a closet with no issues whatsoever). I got these for no up-front cost but will have to pay part of the price at tax time. Even at a discount, they're not worth the hassle or the money.
