They keyboard tray came as promised and well protected. That being said it appears this product was installed once before by the missing paint on screw threads and a missing screw. I installed as recommended and was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy this shelf is for both my keyboard and my mouse. I am quite satisfied with this product and would recommend it.

things I liked, it got to me overnight.things I am not pleased with, It was listed as being 25.5" by 13" but it is only 25.5 " by 12". I had a hard time finding one 12 inches deep but I was really hoping for 13". I am replacing one that was 36 by 9.5 so I guess I will keep looking for one that is 30+ by 11+ but this one will fill the space until then.

I know this is just an under keyboard tray, not some life changing apparatus. But I've used a ton of different keyboard trays over the years. Most of them have tracks on the side and eventually the brackets wear out and the tray falls off, along with anything on it.This one has tracks underneath, and the side brackets attach to it with screws, the board cannot fall out without taking the unit off of the desk. The tracks even have ball bearings so they slide incredibly smooth. There's a little tab in the front to pull the tray out, and a stop on the back to keep things from falling off. It's also wider than most. My keyboard and mouse fit perfectly, with room to move my mouse around. Even my large gaming keyboard and gaming mouse would have fit just fine. The clamps are low profile, I have my crafting mat on top of them and you can barely tell they are there. The directions are well done. The componets were packed in bags that had the letter corresponding to the instruction book.Would give it more than 5 stars if I could. And it's sturdy. I'm a big person with big hands who is not gentle.

I got this to put my keyboard at a height that was more ergonomic. This did the trick.I was concerned because the directions say you can't use it on desks that have hardware close to the edge which my desk has. But I've been able to use this regardless. It works well even with there hardware about 5 inches from the edge.I put it together and was typing in about 10 minutes. Super easy to set up and attach.I have a split keyboard and this is wide enough to have each side at shoulder width. I use a rollerball mouse but if you use a traditional mouse, you might need an additional mouse addition. This has made my home with space far more ergonomic and comfortable.

everything is great, only the surface is very slippery, keyboard and mouse are falling off everytime I pull out or push it in, have to buy a non-slip mat to go with it

The keyboard tray is pretty decent overall. However, in the listing pictures, the tray looks like it comes in one piece, but it's actually 2 pieces that you assemble with metal pieces and screws. For that reason, I docked one star from the rating. The assembly itself is easy and the line is pretty seamless. It feels strong enough for regular daily use.Pros:* Very adjustable for height, different table heights like my granite kitchen countertop slab with plywood (very thick and slightly uneven)* Very wide, accommodates the large split keyboard with a 10 key (numbers) and a mouse* At the back, there's a stop that keeps the tray from falling, but it also doubles as a cord organizer for your keyboard and mouse, if your set-up is hard wiredCons:* The listing pictures showed the tray as one piece, but it's actually two pieces (I don't mind that it comes in two pieces, but rather that it was misrepresented)* Sliding the tray is not very smooth. If you were expecting like a ballbearing type of smoothness, look elsewhere. However, it doesn't impede the functionality. It's because the sliding pieces are plastic and not metal with oil.The best parts of this particular keyboard tray are the impressive size and adjustability of it. The pieces are solid and a good level of finish (easy to dust and wipe up).

The bolts from the sliding mechanism all just fall out, and then you can't use it. If you haven't bought this yet, turn around and find something else.
