Note on yarn and my personal yarn preferences: i love chunky non uniform thick/thin yarn so the pictures are about size 4 mid/bulky yarn in single ply - i got the 4oz ball and what is on th drop spindle from 1 item. This is my first day spinning my own yarn and 2nd roving. Bought this to have a quick and easy blend to try on drop spindling Ato make my own yarn (pictures are of single ply - not yet spun together with a second yarn). I bought several types of roving and this was by far the easiest to work with. The fibers were easy to put end to end when I needed to add more. Soft and easy to separate long fiber strips without crazy shedding over everything. Did not easily break or pull fibers apart with drop spindling. I love this roving - it is high price, but worth it to not be frustrated. I will only use this for gifts or myself as a bold long scarf will take 3-4 of these - easily pushing $100. Still very much worth the cost due to ease to use as a beginner.

This is probably the softest roving that I've ever used. The colors are fantastic! I haven't felted anything yet but I sure plan to. It shipped quickly and you get quite a bit of it. Just beautiful!

Additional info. Lovely sheen and fibers 3 inches long.Update: Now that I’ve worked about 1/3 into fingering 2-ply, I can say that it is overall more purple in tone than blue. Have yet to wet finish any of it as I’ll do that all at once - then I’ll be able to see hoe much it bleeds and the final color tone.

I just started learning how to spin and this was pretty easy to work with. I loved it so much I bought a ton more single color roving from their website!

This is gorgeous fiber, very soft with a subtle shimmer. I'm very pleased with this purchase as I have been with my other purchases from Revolution Fibers.
