The shorts are comfortable and fit well. However, as other reviewers have noted, the design decals on the leg (star and chevrons) came off after one grappling class. They came off clean and did not otherwise compromise the shorts, but it’s a disappointment. I also own a pair of the black shorts with grey and white decals, and they did not have that issue. Seems like it’s only a problem with the black on black version.

The shorts themselves are good, but the decals come off pretty easy, especially the star and chevrons on the leg. They came off clean so I didn't care at all, but if that's something that's really important to you then it's something to be aware of. Other than that, the shorts are really light and comfortable; they don't restrict movement at all and they look and feel way better than gym shorts in my opinion

Draw strings Frey from the Velcro. Otherwise shorts are great and strurdy
