Easy to install. Handles the job well. The metal is starting to discolor a little after a year of use but nothing that affects the product

After 3 or 4 orders and re-orders from the cabinet manufacturer, my installer told me to order the 25 inch tip out try from Amazon. Very nice, sturdy and well made. Roomy. Holds all my sponges, pot scrubbers and brushes. Installer could not mount the tip out tray to the header with screws because of the design of the header and the thickness of the panel where the screws would go. The screws would have come thru the front panel. I suggested Velcro. It worked, but the Velcro does not adhere well to metal. Time for a spot of Gorilla Glue on the metal. This is not my first tip out tray. I find this accessory very convenient and handy. Product arrived in less than 24 hours. Eventually, the 22 inch tip out tray that I ordered from the cabinet store made it to my door step and the both were made by Rev-A-Shelf. I'm please with the quality of the product. I allow sponges and scrubbers to dry before placing them in the tray. My other one is 20 years old and shows no signs of rust.

Just installed this on a 30" base cabinet I had to convert into a sink base. Before you buy this, measure the opening you are using and allow minimum 1" on both sides (spacing of 27").Both tray and hinges looks exactly as pictured. Hinges are, pleasantly, thicker than expected. Two sets of screws come with this set. Counter sunk for the hinges and rounded for the tray and face plate mounting. The counter sunk are blue-ish chrome (If you're picky on colour co-ordination). Instructions are in four languages with tons of words that don't really help much with installation except for the pictures. I do recommend when installing on frames to cut a block as support for the backend screw holes. Then screw through the hinge, block and into the ply side.Install hinges first then use tape and spacers above doors to align where the arm screws go on faceplate.Simple to install. Difficult to read through instruction.

I consider myself a competent carpenter, having done cabinetry, bookshelves, built-ins in our current house as well as some small buildings and other do-it-yourself projects. We are redoing our main floor powder room and decided to build our own "custom" vanity rather than buying a box store item. I ask, "Can you ever have too much storage?" The obvious answer is "NO!" To maximize the usefulness of the vanity, we decided to put in the tip out tray. We purchased the Rev-A-Shelf 25" stainless version. Delivery was quick and prompt. All the pieces were there and the installation instructions were straight forward and easy to understand. Ours is a face frame installation that was a snap, required minimal tools, and works perfect. The 25" tray will provide ample storage for all those frequently used items like band aids, sponges, antiseptics, etc. You know - all the stuff a growing family seems to use every day. Buy it - you'll love it.

It can be tough to install if the sink is installed at the time but we managed. Took about thirty minutes. We thought it would be too slim to hold anything worth while but surprisingly, it holds everything we intended. The hinges are heavy duty and should last a long time. If used properly, I can see this lasting years without trouble. I hope the tray doesn't corrode, but I rather have the steel tray than the plastic. Now that we have it installed, my only change would have been to get two separate trays - one for wet items and one for the dry ones, keeping them separate, but we can make a simple divider for this one.The panel will pull out and upwards a little. I had thought it just swung on a single pivot point like a door hinge, but it kind of lifts up and out of the way away from the cabinet making it easier to access the tray.

The Ovis web site description of this item begins: "Every kitchen/bathroom sink base should have a tip-out tray system," and they're absolutely correct. I just installed one in the kitchen, and am buying two more for the bathrooms. It does take more time and effort to "retro-fit" these trays to cabinets where the sinks are already installed, but the end result is well worth it. Two points regarding comments I've read in other reviews: (1) I found that the quality and sturdiness of all the parts (especially the hinges) included in the kit was more than adequate for the task at hand. (2) The only part of the installation instructions I found confusing was the section on positioning/mounting the cabinet panel to the hinges. My solution was to disregard the instructions and temporarily install a wooden block 6"L x 3"H x 3/4"D with two screws on the bottom inside of the panel BEFORE removing it from the cabinet. (The bottom of the block is snugged DOWN against the horizontal cabinet facepiece and secured with the screws.) Then - after installing the hinges on the sides of the cabinet - it is a relatively easy matter to reposition the front panel and attach the hinges, since all that is now necessary is to center the panel from side-to-side. (The temporary block of wood rests on the cabinet's horizontal facepiece and positions the panel vertically.)

I'm refinishing 1980's cabinets in my kitchen and purchased this tip out tray to add to the updated feel. The installation instructions are confusing, but you can figure it out very easily on your own (I only ended up with a couple of extra holes (: Helpful hint: remove the springs from the hinges while you're installing them to the cabinet box, then put them back to attach to the drawer front. I also recommend moving the tray down a bit if you have enough room. The instructions said to mark a line 1/8" down from the top, put the top of the tray there and mark the holes for the screws that hold it. I have a large sponge and it got stuck and the door wouldn't close with it installed at that measurement. I dropped it down another 1/2 inch and it's perfect. A great addition to any kitchen and a definite plus for an update project!
