seriously? not very flexible, sizes are large and extra large, easy to clean, not easy to use. design is trash, needs to be revamped.

Cheap and works great as a half funnel or channel. Doesn't work that well as a full funnel because the metal core retains some elasticity instead of entirely plastic deformation. That means when you try to roll it into a full funnel, it wants to spring open at the seam. Storing flat makes it very nice for a portable tool set.

I have an oil filter mounted horizontally. Every time we removed it, oil spilled out everywhere and it's a pain to clean up. This funnel allowed me to catch all the overflow into a plastic paint cup. This is a piece of thin aluminum that's sandwiched by silicon sheets. This allows it to be bent up a bit to fit your situation. I used shears to cut a bit of an angle on the wide end so it would fit better. This exposed the aluminum sheet but that doesn't appear to be a big deal. This will be an indispensable part of our oil changes going forward.

Changing oils on the tractor and UTV can be painful. Access is always a problem. The funnels never seem to be wide enough or flexible enough to get the job done easily. I saw this and quickly ordered it.The foldable funnel has some type bendable metal inside covered by a silica gel. This allows it to be bent, rolled, contorted as necessary to perform the job. Easy to bend. It stays in the shape, so you can focus on the job at hand. This should really be helpful on task with the tractor. I don't know how it will stand up over time with lots of bending (think bending a crushed can back and forth until it breaks) nor how well it will store (without becoming mess on a shelf). Overall, this performed better than I thought.Will not work for small opening. Might work better for draining oil in tough spots than filling oil (but that is why I ordered it). Very useful for handling multiple types of fluids in your vehicle.

Oh, how I could have used this three months ago when servicing a friend's Craftsman (MTD) lawn tractor! The engineers at MTD thought it would be a wonderful idea to mount the steering linkage so that it was almost directly in front of the oil drain plug on the single cylinder Briggs engine. Heck, even the plug itself was a challenge to remove. The oil drain was recessed over the frame of the lawn tractor, so one had to direct the oil under the steering linkage, over the side of the frame to an appropriate drain pan. None of my funnels--even a plastic flexible one--would either fit under the linkage and also under the drain hole...so I reverted to the old "piece of cardboard" trick...what a mess--the oil ran up under the engine and down onto the engine pulley, which had to be thoroughly degreased before attempting to return the lawn tractor to service so the drive belt would not slip!This "funnel" has a piece of metal sandwiched between two pieces of silicone...it is bendable along the entire length and more than one bend can be introduced at the same time...yet it cleans up easily and is able to be reformed as needed for the next job. Having this three months ago would have saved me a lot of grief...and a huge mess. Nice design!
