Your cart is empty. The complexities of patient handling are many and varied. If you are in the position of having to move someone who has limited movements upright multiple times day and night, and only sometimes have someone to help. You might need a slide sheet to help you do the work.
The manual handling of people is is always challenging which is the major cause of nurse and carer injury and work cover claims. The use of easily move slide sheet reduces the degree of difficulty, when used as an aid in patient handling.
Tips on How to Use Slide Sheets: 1.Safely roll the patient over to one side.
2.Place underneath a patient of the proper size sheet at the right spot. Our polyester base allows caregivers to easily tuck the fabric under the patient without sticking to slings, bed sheet or caregiver gloves as compared to other products.
3.Roll the patient back on their back, flat the sheet properly.
4.You can now slide the patient, left to right, forward and back with ease.

My husband was in a rehabilitation center due to a fall and one of the concerns before he could come home he had to be able to get into our van the safest way without falling.They put this on my front cloth passenger seat as to help it make it easier for him to maneuver on and turn onto his seat.We’ve used thick garbage bags before and there’s no comparison to using this item as it’s perfect!Also, if my hubby needs more assistance to slide over onto his seat, this item makes it so easily to pull from the other side as then he can adjust even more on the seat if needed.

I bought the larger slide sheet so I could move my 200 lb. husband up to the head of the bed. The sheet worked great!! It didn't take much effort to slide him up by myself. However, the sheet slides him back down just as easily when the head of the bed is raised to sit him up. He slid down the bed even more than normal so eating with the hospital bed table was not possible. If you use the sheet to slide someone side to side, it might be perfect, but I don't recommend it for sliding someone up the bed.

This item has been a bonanza! I was unable to turn my husband in his bed any longer, but now I can move him with ease. It literally made all the difference. I'm so glad someone suggested it to me. Such a small price for the daily help it is, several times per day. We have a low air loss mattress for my husband's hospital bed, so we cannot use anything thick under his body so as not to defeat the purpose of the alternating pressure to prevent skin breakdown. This is thin and doesn't cause a problem. I'm so happy with this Slide Sheet, and think everyone should have one for this purpose. I used to use a black garbage bag that was slippery and quite a help, but this beats anything! I wasn't aware it existed, but now I'm passing the word whenever possible.

Helps the caregiver more easily move the patient into the proper place in bed. My husband also uses it to assist him in transferring from bed to chair and back.
